~Tofuu~

Lean spun around in the little store we were in. I sat on a small seat watching her. "Spin for me, darling!" I called out, laughing. "Oh, hush!" She said, laughing along with me. 

We have spent almost three hours in the mall, going from store to store looking. So far, no luck. Have yet to find what I wanted. But atleast I was having a lot of fun with Leah.

My dad's new place was rather small.

"Wow, it's nice." I said, taking a few steps inside. The kitchen entry way was a few feet from the door, and to the left was a hall way leading to a small bathroom and bedroom. To the right was a pretty large, compared to everything else, livingroom. Through that was a 4x4 balcony. Its veiw was a nice one. Showed the hole town. This room was on the third floor. Pretty high off the ground. 

"So," My dad started. "Maybe a few times a week or something, you can stop by and stay here? It's not as far away as I thought it was." I hesitated for a moment. I didn't want to go anywhere Joe couldn't, but it's not like we were conected at the hip or something.

"Yeah, sure. It's cool here. As long as there internet!" We both lightly giggled and I helped my dad pick up some of the trash the old residents left behind.

"Thank you so much for doing this Leah." I said, smiling wide as we walked past the food court. "No problem. And yeah...I'll admit it was pretty fun." "I'm not a girl, so I wouldn't have been able to do this alown." "Well of course. Guys will never understand this stuff. But it's so cute you are trying." I felt my smile widen even more, which sort of hurt.

I had Leah drive and drop me off at Zack's place.

My dad had to get to his work, so he dropped me off at the gas station not far from my home. As I rounded the corner on to my street, I saw a shiny silver car parked outside. I didn't know that car, but as I walked forwards more, I saw Joe and Leah standing there. They were talking, but I didn't hear there words. As I continued walking closer, Leah bent forwards and kissed Joe's cheek. Getting rather close to his mouth. 

I expected him to pull away fast, or yell at her. But he just smiled and laughed. What the frick..?

"So thanks again Leah." "No prob. Anytime bud!" Leah laned over and kissed my cheek. "I'll see you around?" She said smiling. "Yeah." Just as I was about to hug her good bye, Zach showed in my vision.

Walking at me fast, he was pissed.

I grabbed Joe's arm with all of my strength and pulled him towards my house. "Hey!" He called out. I shot an evil glance at Leah and pressed forwards. Joe was to much in shock to restrain from my grip.

Once inside my room, I pushed him at the bed and locked my door. Joe sat againced the wall. He was still to shocked to do or say anything. I crawled over him. A leg on either side of him. I grabbed his face loosly with my hands and kissed him. I licked his lips and broke my way through his barrier. Sliding my tongue accross his teeth. 

"Z-Zach. Stop!" He gripped my shoulders and pushed me back. My anger-strength gone. "What's gotten into you?" He asked, gasping for air I so despritly wanted to take from him. My anger rose again.

"What? You dare ask! Are Leah's kisses batter than mine? Is that it! You'd rather her kiss you?" The anger turned to sadness fast, and tears swelled in my eyes. I grabbed Joe's wrists and removed them from my shoulders. I held him to the wall and kissed him again. I could feel him pressing againsed my grip. He wanted to get away that badly..?

I released the kiss and my arms fell. I gripped his shirt with my fists lightly. My head slumped and rested againced his chest. Which lifted up and fell back unevenly. I cried, making my breathing uneven as well. 

"God damn it Joe...Do you like Leah that much..?" "Zach..What the hell are you talking about?" "You let her kiss you Joe..Yet you wont let me. Why?" "Because she..She helped me." My head shot up off his chest and I stared him dead in the eyes. 

"Helped you with what?" He sighed. Why did he sigh? 

"I was going to wait to give it to you until out 6-mounth anniversery. But sense you are doubting my love for you, here." He pulled a small box from his pocket. 

I hadn't noticed anything in his pocket.

"For you, Zach." He opened the box. I saw what was in it. Yet I couldn't believe it.

"A...A pr-promise ring..?" I asked, my hands shaking as I removed the ring from its fabric holder. "Yeah." My hands shook to much, I couldn't place it on. I laughed slightly. "Joe I..I can't um...Put it on.." He smiled lightly and helped me. Then he held my heads steady. Observing. 

"Leah was right. It does look perfect on you." I looked from the ring engraved with 'Promise' up to his eyes. "So..Frick...I really am stupid, huh?" My lower lip trembled as I tried smiling. "Just a bit. But that's okay, because that's how I love you. I love you for you." I wrapped my arms around his neck, and he wrapped his around my lower back. 

"I am so sorry, Joe.." "Don't be." He gently brushed my hair with his steady hands. "Joe.." "What is it?" "I love you.." "I know." I sat back and looked at him. "I'd love you even of you left me. For Leah, or for anyone." "You don't have to worry about that. Because these rings?" He held up his. "Will stay in promise until the day we die. Got it?" I smiled. "Got it."

We both lay naked under Zach's bed covers. Naked all except for out rings. I pushed into him and kissed him deep. We looked into each others eyes.

"Am I hurting you, Zach?" I asked. He rubbed my cheek gently with the hand that had the ring on it. "I would be lieing if I said t doesn't hurt. But I know with Joe, everything will be okay."

"I love you Zach." "I love you too, Joe." "Promise?" "Promise."
