Lets see an example first:
Pronouns:
मैं [I]
तुम [you informal]
वह [he/she]
हम [we]
आप [you formal]
वे [they]
Verb: आना [to come]
मैं आता हूं [main aataa hoon]
तुम आते हो [tum aate ho]
वह आता है [vah aataa hai] [he comes]
वह आती है [vah aati hai] [she comes]
हम आते है [hum aate hai]
आप आते है [aap aate hai]
वे आते है [ve aate hai]
You can see a pattern here, this pattern is applicable for many verbs [not all because there are exceptions] like जाना [to go] , सोना [to sleep] , पीना [to drink], सोचना [to think], गाना [to sing], देना [to give]
Like in English, there are verbs made of two words like: wake up, get lost, come back etc, there are verbs like this in Hindi
Example: आज्ञा देना – to order [aagyaa dena]
In these type of verbs on the latter part is conjugated:
मैं आज्ञा देता हूँ
तुम आज्ञा देते हो
वह आज्ञा देता है and so on
Other examples of these kinds of verbs are:
जन्म देना – to give birth [janm dena]
उधार लेना – to borrow [udhaar lena]
पालन करना – to obey [paalan karna]
सांस लेना – to breathe [saans lena]
