Let's see some examples to understand this

My house
house is घर (ghar)
and ghar is masculine
so the form of possessive pronoun that will be used is मेरा

so, it is मेरा घर (mera ghar)

My mother
mother is माँ (maa) and mother is feminine
so it is मेरी माँ (meri maa)

My legs
legs is पैर (pair)
and पैर is masculine and plural in this case
so, it is मेरे पैर (mere pair)

My walls
wall is दीवार (deevaar) which is feminine
here it is plural therefore, it is दीवारें (deevaaren)
so, it is मेरी दीवारें (meri deevaaren)

** Now these possessive pronouns (मेरे , तेरे ...)
These are for plural nouns as we saw
but these are also used for singular nouns (masculine) when you want to give respect to that noun

Example:
मेरे पिता - my father (mere pita)
मेरे दादाजी - my grandfather (mere dadaji)
मेरे राष्ट्रपति - my president (mere rashtrapati)
