That day, we started to build our observatory.
Phase 1: The foundations
The construction workers dug a hole, to build the supporting foundation. I make sure to check the foundations on where we build if it was strong enough, and it was very strong enough to be built in. I use my efficiency 5 pickaxe to mine out those stones sticking out, and then the construction workers will get rid of the sand and dirt.
That took us 10 days.
Phase 2: The framework
You cant just apply concrete blocks directly, it will break so fast. So there is a reason why we need a framework, to make it stronger. I went to the mineshaft and ask for some stock of metals to mix it up, just to make a stronger alloys, however one of the zombies just dump a piece of netherite ore, which it causes to make the alloy stronger. It created the netherite alloy, which makes the framework even stronger, but I only need to use that, just to house the telescope, and other important parts, the rest of the framework supplies will came the construction workers. after we got the supplies, we started building our framework for our building.
That took us 30 days
Phase 3: Filling it up
After building the framework, the construction workers will fill the foundations with concrete, it also includes the framework, to avoid rusting. But the progress is starting to slow down at this phase because of the night, which most of them are asleep at that point. So I bought some help, from the miners, I taught them on what to do, and then the progress goes even faster than before. Day and night, they swap places, and I inspect the place everytime if there was a flaw on the build.
That took us 50 days.
There are other things that had happened during construction. While at the time when the foundation was built, few construction workers did some other things, like making the access road, which it was halfway done for now, and at the same time, the access to the electricity was being built, and it was almost done, and it will transport electricity, but that would only power half of the observatory, because the rest would be powered by solar energy. Everything was going so well, at least for now.....
