Chapter 46: The story of her

When we reach on her new house, which it faces right on the ravine with a mineshaft on where she was working, we started to arrange her things on to the correct places. After we arrange all of her things, I decided to ask about why she was a ghost, being visible to everyone on Earth.

*Carrie's POV*

Want to hear a story? I will tell you one, and it is all about the story on how I become a visible ghost:

"Long time ago, during 1684, I was born outside in a small town, right near the cemetery. I always wander around the cemetery, reading the names of the graves. My family was poor, and my father works as a tradesman. I didn't enjoy my life, back when I was alive. While I was wandering around the cemetery, I wandered off on a part of it where I haven't explored, and one of the grave has plaque that doesn't have a name. No one brings flowers and gifts on that grave, and I think the soul was sad.

While I was on the seaside, playing with the sand, I found a seashell, pearly and round. I decided to give it to the grave that doesn't have a name, as a gift, and I think the soul is happy, and I am happy.

But my happiness didn't last long.

During the night, my house burned down. I tried to escape, but it was too late. I died, Game Over, Spectate world, or Delete world.

When I died, I was transported to the underworld, where all of the souls of the dead stays there for eternity, and I want to go back there to the overworld, then someone called me. It was the soul who owns the grave that doesn't have a name. He thanked me for giving gifts to his grave, because he died without being loved and his entire community rejects and forgets about him. He thank me back by giving me a gift, which is the gift of life.

What he did was he lead me to bunch of people who are actually the victims of the Salem Witch Trial, in which most of them were innocent, and they were executed for being suspected as a witch. One of the victims however, was actually a real witch. She knows everything about alchemy and potion making, and that is where I taught about potion making. She knows every spells, especially one of the spells that she is offering to me that it will make me have access to the overworld and the underworld.

I accepted the offer, then now I have an ability to go to the overworld, so I tested it out...

It worked.

I went back to my house on where I used to live. It was already in ashes. I decided to left the place because I scared so many people. And this is the point where I started to roam around the world to travel, alone."

Ruiz asked me on where is the location of your old house, and I told him that is not located on Elmore, and she told me that she came from England.

He was confused on how did I get here from England to Elmore, and he probably thought that I have traveled for 300 years before I settled at Elmore, which he was right and now he wonders about what did I have experienced on my travel, so this is another story on what I have experienced on my very long, lonely travel.
