Chapter 45: Carrie Moves in

During her break I decided to show her my cavern I made. It was rough but can form tables. I told her that she will live here for now because of the distance of her hometown Elmore, to Area 211, which is 1024 miles away from the Area 211, and she can't go home back and forward. I told her that because she doesn't have enough time to go home. So she agreed what I said.

We took another trip to Elmore again to visit her old house, and she lives with her father. Who is also a ghost. He ask me about what is going on. I told her that she is moving to her new house, which is right near her workplace. We went into a conversation in which he manage to get along quickly, along his happiness of her daughter getting a new job, even though it is just mining, because she is hired as the leader of the mines, and the fact that she is a part time potion brewer on which she has a potion proficiency. After the conversation, he helped moving her stuff towards my car.

While we were moving her stuff, Darwin saw me, in a face that he was shock. He slowly muttered, and he doesn't know what is going on. He ask me on what is going on, and I told him that she is moving to a new place where she can take a break a break during her out of office. This enraged Darwin, who started to beat me up, in which it doesn't hurt because I have a higher resistance to pain. I told him to stop because it is getting annoying but he doesn't want to. He gave me a low blow, which it failed after putting on my Netherite armor before he does that. So now he found a big stick, which its starting to hurt.

I told him that it wasn't my decision and it was hers, but he didn't believe me, so I called Carrie, now seeing that I am being beaten up by him, to tell everything herself.

After telling on what she said, Darwin accepted her faith, crying. Carrie told him that he should now worry, because it doesn't mean that she is gone forever. She gave her a new address, so one day when he has nothing to do, he can visit her, and then she told him to stop beating me up, so he gave one last blow as a goodbye for her, while my suffering stop.

After we pack her things, she started to say goodbye to his father, and Darwin, which they both cried, hoping that one day she can visit her. While we left I told her this:

"It is sad to say goodbye to your loved ones, especially after the years of school, where their children decided to leave to their parents, which is most of the case. You had a proper goodbye, while I don't. I went to jail being accused for terrible crimes, but I didn't do anything. My parents heard the news, and they don't know on what to do about me, so they ditch me, moving away from them without knowing on where they will go. I didn't even have time to say goodbye to them. I was released from the jail after declaring innocent, which they caught the right people after I was released. I was released, alone without anyone to pick me up. I was disoriented on what to do next, so I decided to move out instead, without saying goodbye to my parents. At least I still have some remaining money from my college."

Carrie was sad after hearing my story, which I thought that I have the worst past, but I thought I was having it worse.
