When I wake up this morning, I heard a loud explosion, and I heard it from Carrie's house. She was blast mining, and I decided to ask her why.

She told me that she is making the corridors to make rooms for storage, and she thinks that it will make things even faster, so I decided to tell her that the miners can help you, which will make the job quicker. When I left, she ask some help of the co-workers to finish the job quickly.

When I was about to go to work, I realized that I haven't tried my elytra yet, so I decided to use it to go to work, and I look for a right place to launch myself to fly, and I decided to use the balcony as a launchpad, and it didn't go well....

I keep falling instead, and I try to control it. I flattened myself horizontally, and it started gliding, and I got disoriented because I didn't get used to it. When I am very close to the lab, I decided to land, but I don't know how, and instead, I rub my face on the soil. The co-workers saw me if I am okay, which I was fine, and I proceed immediately to the washroom to clean my face.

At the office, Freddy came and he seems that I have a problem, which is learning on how to use the elytra. Freddy know it and he told me it is like flying a plane for only a single person. He also said this: "Use the mechanics on how do planes fly". I check on how does the elytra being structured, and it looks like a shape that you can see on a plane. After realizing it has the same structure of a plane, I decided to search on how planes work for some extra research, and there are four main forces, which is thrust, lift, drag, and weight. I watch a lot of videos to understand it more.

The next day, I try to fly again, but this time, I put a platform to make sure that I can launch myself properly, and I did it, and I glide, but now I wanted to fly. I try to gain lift, but I am not an airplane, so I don't have an engine, so I don't fly, and I forgot to learn on how to land, which I figured it oud by standing myself up when I am almost reach the ground. I landed safely, but I land much further away from the observatory, which I could have been closer if did a crash landing. I am still a bit disoriented on transitioning to glide myself with an elytra.
