The monster screamed, going crazy.

"Leave! Leave!! Leeeeeaave!!!"

[Name] backed up from the monster, cringing at it's loud and scratchy voice. The monster swung at Deuce, knocking him back. Ace tried to send some magic to the monster, but it didn't work and he got hit as well.

"Ace! Deuce, put some distance between it!"

The monster set it's gaze on Grim, and he freaked and sent a jet of blue flames at it. Even from where you stood you could feel the heat coming from the flames.

"I-It's not working at all!"

A small glimmer caught your eyes, as well as Yuu's

"Huh!?"

"Guys, something just sparkled!"

Ace tried looking behind the thing and looked into the darkness of the mines.

"Behind that thing! At the end of the tunnel, something..."

"That light, is it a magic crystal!?"

[Name] squinted at the area she saw the sparkle from. It differentiated from the rest of the sparkle from the other minerals, but she was to see the crystal.

"GOOOOOOOOOOHHH! WON'T GIVE!!!!"

The monster roared in anger and swung again, getting more enraged by the second. Everyone needed to leave immediately because it was getting increasingly dangerous.

"L-L-L-Let's get out of here! We're done for at this rate!!"

Grim screeched, and [Name] ran to him and picked him up and put him on her shoulder.

"Retreat, retreat!"

Yuu screamed, and everyone ran out the the mines as fast as they could. The faint noises of the the monster screaming grew fainter as everyone got further way from it, seeing the faint light of the entrance.

The smell of the woods flooded her senses as everyone panted after they stopped running. Luckily, the thing never followed any of them out so they were all in the clear.
