Chapter 18

Jessica's POV
Saturday

This morning Harry's arm was around me. Well this is awkward. I quietly put on my clothes and sneak out Harry's room.

Downstairs was a mess. People were even knocked out on the floor. Red cups were every where, popped balloon pieces were on the floor, and silly string on the walls. When did we ever have silly string. I hated it since it was really hard to get out my hair. I couldn't stand looking at the mess any longer. I wake up the hung over kids asking them to exit the house. I told them to call a cab home. Immediately after I start cleaning up the house.

After two hours of cleaning I hear footsteps coming down the stairs.

"Harry, Uh good morning," I smile slightly putting the last bag of trash by the door. His morning hair is so cute.

"Jess, you did all this?" Harry said amazed. Everything was clean except I had to wipe the table tops. Gosh can't people use coasters.

"Yeah I told you I was gonna pay you back," I said grabbing a wet rag and wipe the nearest table.

"Jess I really think you should go home. Simone and I will take care of the rest," He said

"Only If I had a car" I sighed

"I'll drive you. Come on,"

Harry turns down the radio in the car. "What was with last night," He says breaking the awkward silence.

"I'm sorry what?" I tense up.

"You know what I'm talking about because you snuck out of bed," Harry replied sternly. I told him to turn into the Gates.

"It was nothing," I managed to say.

"I know it wasn't nothing. Your heart was beating faster than normal,"

" It was just a little nightmare," I fake smiled. The worry in Harry's face was strong and clear.

"I hope so," He pulled into my driveway.

"Thanks Harry for everything. I owe you one," I got out the car. Harry walked me to my door.

"You don't owe me anything sweetheart," He smiled. Is it just me or is his dimples adorable.

My aunt Jenna was gonna be out all night for work. So I might as well start on my homework. I got my work and headed out to the tree house in my back yard.

After I finished texting Simone I started my homework. It was quite and peaceful.

Until I heard talking.

"When do I start? How much again? Before I start I'm gonna have a little fun with her."

I peeped next door from the tree house. It was Luke. He said goodbye and hung up. Luke spotted me. I quickly ducked out of sight.

"I already saw you," He yelled. I stood up.

"Sorry I didn't mean to ease drop. Um I didn't hear very much anyways. It's not like I was trying to listen. I mean I was just doing my homework," I ranted but stopped to notice he really wasn't listening. I cleared my throat.

"Um Thanks for the party," I said softly.

"Yeah whatever it won't be happening again. It was all an act," Luke said a bit cocky.

"What?"

"Look here Ashton made a bet that if I could be nice to you for a week I'd get 20 bucks. The bet is over so you can stop stalking me because we aren't friends. Also Simone was very persuasive making me surprise you," He smirked at me knowing I was hurt by his words.
