I finished dinner a few minutes ago. Colton still hasn't called yet. I should probably go take a shower to pass the time. As I'm walking to the bathroom my phone buzzes. It was Colton

I smiled at the text message for a moment .

To: Hawt😻
Hey and it's fine. Well I'm about to take a shower I'll talk to you later.

I sent the text and cut on the water.

Before u go u should come to this party on Saturday w/ me nd my gf. U should invite some of your friends too.

I read the message. I quickly changed his contact name. He has a girlfriend I thought as I stepped into the shower. It's not like I was that interested in him anyways. I lied to myself. Plus I was too busy wondering on how to wear my hair. Curly or straight, I'm thinking curly. The perks of being brownskin I thought laughing to myself. I wash my hair then put it in Bantu knots so it'll be really pretty. I pick out an outfit for tomorrow and head to bed .

I get out of bed heading straight to the bathroom to take out these Bantu knots in my hair. It turned out quite beautiful. While getting dressed I hear my phone 'bing'.

I put my phone in my pocket and do my makeup in the mirror. Perfect . After I brush my teeth. Also put my charger in purse . I head downstairs after I finished those things. Since it's Friday I should probably make breakfast for me and my aunt. I make pancakes and bacon.

They're here already I thought. I grab a pancake and walk out the door to the car.

"Hey Bitch get excited it's Friday. Plus tomorrow you're coming to my house," Jade Says.

"Yeah it's a sleepover ! Just imagine what were gonna do for your birthday. Speaking of which it's next week, the 26th of August." Simone says. I put on my seatbelt.

"Of course I'm happy it's Friday. I just wish you guys would've told me Colton had a girlfriend." I take a bite of my pancake.

"Oh we thought Ari told you." Jade says parking in front of the school.

"Well she didn't. He invited me and you guys to this party the same day of the sleepover. " I say getting out the car.

"Jessica! We are definitely going to that party tomorrow. When the party's over we'll go to Jades house." Simone said holding the door for us.

"Maybe a guy will take you to the party. I know that Kyle is taking me." Jade says.

"Awe you guys are so cute together. I wish I had a relationship like that." I say kinds remembering my last relationship. We walk to our locker. As I'm getting my French books the chatter in the halls get louder.

"Hottest boys in school alert" Simone says in a flirty way putting on her lipgloss. I turn and see who's in the hall. I panic and fix my hair.

"I think one of them is my ex."

"Well get ready cause I think the blonde one is coming for you." Jade says walking off.
