While Colton was driving I started to admire his body. The piercing on his right ear and the strange tattoo on his arm.
"We're Here..." Colton says
"Oh um, thanks for the ride." I say snapping out of my daze.
"So do you live here or are you visiting a friend?"
"Uhh both actually." I say unbuckling my seatbelt.
"Well that's a coincidence." he says. I give him a puzzled look.
"Heh, what I mean is that I live in the Gates to. Um a lot of people from school do. Including your friend Ari" he smiles at me.
"Speaking of her, where is her house. I'm kinda new if you haven't noticed." I chuckled a bit. He pulls up to his house.
"She's 3 houses down. Want me to walk you there?" He gets out the car.
"Sure if it's no trouble." I blush.
"Follow me bae" he smirks walking towards Ari's house. I jog up next to him.
"Hey! Your doing that on purpose to annoy me" I cross my arms
"Maybe I am" He chuckles a bit.
We walk together I'm silence for a bit.
"Umm so do your tattoos have a meaning?"
"Maybe I could tell you next time we hang out. In the meantime we're at Ari's house" he smiles.
"Oh. Hey Colton" Ari says opening the door.
"Hey. Well I Gotta go so I'll catch you later. Bye Jessi I'll text you around 10" He says walking off. I walk inside Ari's house. The place is beautiful, better than mine. Maybe because we aren't settled in all the way.
"Let's go upstairs to my room. I have to tell you everything. Come on Hurry up" She says halfway up the stairs.
"I'm coming. What's so important anyways" I say jumping on her bed
"Dammit Jessi are you Trying to break the bed" she chuckles
"Are you calling me fat?" I laugh
"Heh, anyways I wanted to tell you that everyone in The Gates is different. Not human."
" Um then what are you?" I ask. I should be shocked by this but I remembered what my aunt told me. She said this place was different so maybe that's what she meant.
Ari takes a deep breath.
"Well..."
