"Uh Hi, I'm Colton." He says smiling as he stood up and dusts of his jeans.

"H-hi, I'm Jessi." I say smiling back. In my head he looked familiar but I wasn't in the mood to figure out who. It seemed like his green eyes had me in a trance.

"Well I'm sorry for bumping into you. It's only the first day of 10th grade and I'm already being clumsy." Colton chuckled as he rubbed the back of his neck. He cheeks turn red. It looks like he's a little embarrassed

"Heh, it's no big deal. Um I'll catch you later. I have to get to class." I turn around towards Ari smiling. For some reason she seems excited too.

"Gurll, you just definitely had a moment with one of the hottest guy in school." She says as we make it to gym. I blushed while thinking did I really just speak to one of the hottest in school. We walk into the locker rooms. It was filled with girls I didn't know.

"I hope you know that was the nerdy Colton from 7th grade S.T.E.M" she laughs as she's changing into her gym clothes. My facial expression changes dramatically.

"Nooo, your totally lying"

Ari shook her head smiling

"How can that be him. Where's the nerdy glasses and crap. It's like puberty hit him like a truck!" I said still amazed about what I just heard.

"True. Ugh we have to play volleyball today." she says rolling her eyes

"Don't we need two more people to play on the other side?"

"Yeah, well it looks like hottie and his bud over there doesn't have a partner either" Ari nudges me smiling. I look over just catching him pointing to me.

"And look here he comes. Maybe he'll become your Wugga" she says jokingly

"Oh my god stop. Now your just playing games. Should mess with you about A-" Before I could finish my sentence Colton interrupted me.

"Hey."

"Uh Hi"

"I see you guys don't have any opponents. Mind if we join you?" He says smiling.

"No not at all. I'm not very good at volleyball by the way" I blush. He smiles and walks to the other side of the net. Wow he was so cute when he smiles I thought.

11-3 was the score. I turn to Ari as I see Colton walking over towards me.

"I guess you really aren't good at volleyball" He laughs and bites his bottom lip. It's like he's trying to make me fall for him.

"Yeah, told you" I smile and start to blush

"Umm while you two are flirting I'm gonna hang out with cutie over there" Ari smirks and walks over to Colton's friend.

"Maybe I can help you out with your volleyball skills. Just give me your number"

"Hmm too bad I don't have a sheet of paper" I wiped away my fake tears teasing him.

"Haha very funny. I guess you don't wanna get better." He teased back

"Ugh, give me your arm" I roll my eyes smiling whiling writing my aunts number on his arm.

The bell rings for our next period. All the student flee out the door.

"I'll catch you later" Colton say jogging off to be with his friends. I see Ari waving for me at the door.

"Soooo" she asked

"Sooo what?"

"Did you give Colton your number?"

"No I gave him my aunts" I said looking down ashamed. Ari laughs

"Don't be so hard on yourself maybe he won't call tonight"

" I hope he won't" I say heading off to my next class.
