2 weeks.... weeks have passed and I still haven't been able to find my babies. I've searched every inch of this mansion and since I'm not pregnant anymore, I don't know when I'll be able to see Dr. Julia.
I curse myself for leaving her the way I did. I should have waited to see what else she had to say. But then again... I was probably right. If they weren't dead I would have found them by now.
There's only four weeks until the ball and I am not prepared. Every single day I'm getting fitted for something or asked my opinion on another. I haven't had time to actually breathe or sleep for that matter; since at night, I'm roaming the halls trying to hear some sort of baby sound or even get a small glimpse of one.
If they were alive what condition were they in? Certainly not good since they're premature..
Thoughts of these worry me everyday. All of these what ifs.
I walked into the kitchen and found the maid; Lisa. She was an older pale woman with neck length black hair and bright blue eyes.
She and I had become friendly over her past experience with the boys. We both missed them an extreme amount.
As a young woman she used to babysit the boys and Irene and from my newfound knowledge.. Ivy as well. She was the same height as me; 5'4.
I nodded my head to her with a small smile and she smiled back.
"Can I make you something Queen Kin-Ji?" She asked
I smiled, "No need. I just need maybe some milk? Or water? I'm not sure... just something to help me sleep."
We chuckled before she spoke, "Well I think warm milk might do the trick." She turned around towards the fridge and I watched her open it.
Nothing was out of the ordinary until I lowered my gaze to the shelf's in the door.
There were two bottles.
But why?
Lisa heard my gasp and quickly looked over her shoulder at me before following my gaze.
She quickly gasped and shut the fridge before hurrying over to a cabinet and grabbing a cup.
"L-Li-"
"Please Queen Kin-Ji. If I answer that I could die."
It was like she read my mind. Shut my mouth in fear for her safety but also because she answered my question without even realizing it.
If my babies weren't alive... Why would there be bottles and why would she die for telling me anything?
I waited for my milk to be warmed and watched her every move. I wanted to make her crack.. not fully but at least enough to give me some type of clue.
"I wasn't going to ask anything." I said
"Well good. I'm glad." She gave a fake smile before handing it back
