(13 yr old.) P.O.V
I was sitting alone on the swing in the backyard of Ivy's home. We had just returned from our parents funeral. All three of my sisters had turned their attention towards Kin-Ji, who was sobbing uncontrollably. But I didn't mind because she was the youngest and she was the closest to our father and mother.
"Hey Kula.."
I lifted my head and released a small smile.
"Ivy." I said as I watched him sit down on the swing beside me.
"I know you're going through a hard time." he comfortingly grabbed my arm and pulled me over to sit on his lap. "But, I'm glad you and Hana agreed that I was the best person to care for you all. I promise, I am going to take very good care of you and your sisters. Especially now that I'm the king."
I nodded at him and smiled sweetly.
"You may not know this but one day when you're all old enough I'll have to choose a queen and I would like for that to be you Kula.. So I'm asking now, will you stay by my side and let me teach you our ways? So that one day when you're old enough you can rule with me?"
I smiled and hugged Ivy tightly, "I think Eomma and Appa would be very happy about that." I spoke with a slightly happier tone.
He gently pushed me to stand and then he too stood from the swing, "Perfect, but don't tell your sisters. We don't want them to get jealous."
I giggled, "Okay, our secret." I pretended to zip my lips and then lock it before throwing away the key.
He began walking back towards the house and ushered for me to follow, "Oh and Kula?"
I lifted my head to look him in the eyes, "Yes?" I asked.
"I will find whoever did this to your mother and father. I promise." he grabbed my hand and lightly pecked the top of it before walking inside and I followed quickly after him.

(16 yr old) P.O.V
Here we are, celebrating Ivy's 23rd birthday. We're all in his debt honestly, although he still hasn't found our parents' killers, he's taken great care of us and has always made sure we were okay. Soomi and Ivy's new bodyguard, Felix, have gotten rather close. I think Ivy is beginning to notice because before, Felix could roam the mansion freely as long as he had his radio. But now, Ivy doesn't allow him around any of us or around the mansion unless Ivy is with him or another bodyguard.
