Not So Disastrous Life

After School Fun

Juliet's POV:

I rinsed out my bottle thoroughly before filling it with fresh water. Kokomi pushed open the door and stepped into the hall.

"Juliet, are you alright?"

"Quite."

"What happened?"

"Someone...er..." Mayumi lowered her voice. "Someone tried to get Hippy to drink laxatives'." 

"Must you call me that?" I asked. Mayumi shrugged and shoved her hands into her hoodie pockets.

"Oh my gosh...You didn't drink them did you?"

"No...I kind of sensed that something was fishy." I said taking a sip of my now clean water. I looked over to Mayumi and Kusuo, giving them a slight glare. They sheepishly looked away.

"Are they ok?" Kokomi asked. 

"Actually...don't you two have something to say?"

"....No." said Kusuo.

"I'm not speaking without my lawyer." Added Mayumi. I bonked them both on the head before pushing them closer to Kokomi.

"Now..."

"Ok ok!" They both agreed. Kusuo bowed slightly as Mayumi crossed her arms.

"We...thought you might have laced Juliet's water....but we were wrong."

"Yeah so we're....sorry...or whatever." 

"Not whatever..." I growled.

"Ok ok...we're really sorry.." Both said. Kokomi blinked and then blushed lightly. 

"Y...you thought...It was me?" Her expression changed into one of shock and sadness, only thing was this time she wasn't faking it. "I'm trying to help...I want to find out who's doing this as much as you....Juliet and I may not have gotten along before but that's in the past! I...I can't believe you'd think I'd stoop to such a level to lie...let alone drug her!" 

"Kokomi..."

"We're really sorry." Kusuo said, showing honest concern. Even Mayumi was starting to feel guilty.

"Kokomi...believe me when I say these two truly feel sorry for their stupid judgment."

"...Alright...I trust you."

"And I you." I patted her hand and smiled. "Now how about we head back in?"

"Sure!"

I shot a glare back at Kusuo and Mayumi before heading back into the auditorium.

Saiki's POV:

 "That felt cold." I said to Mayumi.

"Eh...I'm use to death stares. C'mon, we better head back in as well." She said, following after Juliet and Teruhashi. I sighed and reluctantly followed.

The drama practice ended and the four of us headed towards the school gates.

"Mmmm Juliet can i ask you a serious question?" 

"Sure Kokomi, what's up?"

"...Does your older brother have a girlfriend?"

I spit out my water I had been drinking. Mayumi practically dropped her phone.

"I don't believe so...he hasn't said anything to us about having any partner..." Juliet answered. I couldn't believe it. Don't get me wrong, I didn't want her after me but she's never been that bold before. To ask about Escalus to his own sister? What was she thinking? Does she really like him? More than me? That could be a good thing but then there's still one variable to take into consideration.
