Normal;
I got out of there as soon as my jelly was finished. Don't worry, I paid. I'm not a criminal. I'm sure most of you figured out how I left. Of course, I teleported. I wasn't wearing an annoying patterned jacket and the male bathroom was clear. Though I mistakenly didn't teleport home.
Saiki's POV:
Damn it. She was so close to me my powers weren't strong enough. Oh well, least I got away from Teruhashi. I guess that means I have to walk home the rest of the way. At least it's a clear evening. Peaceful. Wait, everytime I'm relaxed the author always-
"Hey buddy!"
Told you. It's Nendo. Well I would say it couldn't get worse but we all know it could.
Normal;
It could. Thank goodness it didn't, I deal with Nendo in school all the time. Don't get me wrong, he's a nice guy but he's an idiot. I also just wanted to get home. I thought I was gonna be stuck with him until.
Saiki's POV:
"Nendo! Kusuo!"
It's Juliet.
Normal;
Of course it would be. This story is about me and her remember.
Saiki's POV;
"....Hey."
"Hey new girl!"
"You can call me Juliet. That's my name after all."
"Juliet. That's a funny name."
"It's a normal name. What are you talking about?......Oh right. She's here. My telepathy is fading. Ugh."
"I guess it's not a normal name, but it's the one that my parents wanted. They loved the story Romeo and Juliet."
"Uh.....what's that?"
"Nendo you can't be that.... actually you are. Right. Can't hear me." Deep breath. "... It's...a story...we read it in school..."
"Oh really? Ehhhh I don't like reading. To many words! Hahaha!"
"...Ehheh....uhm... Kusuo. I just got off work and since we're both headed the same way I wondered if you want to walk home together?"
"If it saves me from Nendo? I'll walk you anywhere." Take her request. "Yea. Sure....See you....Yea bye Nendo."
"Bye buddy! See ya new girl!!!"
"Bye Nendo!"
Normal;
So obviously when a guy walks a girl home they normally live next to each other right? That kind of wasn't the case. If all of you remember next door to me is that little kid that thinks I'm a superhero. So Juliet doesn't live there, but she does live two doors after that. Not terribly long walk from my home.
What did we talk about? Well I didn't do much talking. She did. Honestly she's a fairly interesting girl, and that's coming from me. She wants to be a pastry chef, and she's a straight A student. Hardly ever mad and she has an older brother like me. Although unlike me, they get along. We had gotten close to her house and I thought the conversation was going to be over.
Saiki's POV;
"Oh Kusuo. I was talking so much, I forgot to ask about your life."
"... What....my life?"
"Yea. Like what are your parents like. What you do for fun. Do you have any siblings,stuff like that."
There's that sweet smile again. She wants to know about me? I mean, it's not the first time I've been asked questions like that. I get questions like that all the time from my friends, are they my friends? Yeah, I suppose so. What am I supposed to tell her? First time I've actually ever wanted to answer the questions. First time I've ever wanted to tell someone about my personal life. I don't have an answer, I've only known this girl for a few hours and already she's turning every thing I'm used to around.
Normal;
I've said it before, I was at a loss of words. I've never ever gotten like that. I'm a psychic. I'm able to do everything, I can read minds, I can hypnotize people, I can levitate, shoot fire. My whole life I've been emotionless because of having all these extraordinary powers that most humans would give anyting to get. I felt nothing, until all these people started coming up to me wanting to be my friend, and now, this girl who would just arrived to this town, to my school, makes me that human. She gives me those emotions I've lacked. To the point that I even started this, this story. Right then and there I wanted to tell her, about my powers and how she blocked them, but I couldn't. That would be irresponsible. Dangerous.
Saiki's POV;
"Well.... What do you want to know, specifically."
"Do you have any siblings?"
"....... Biologically he's my older brother."
"Oh so you and him don't get along? Did you have like a argument?"
".... Let's say....he's jealous...."
"Hm....Ok."
Normal people would ask what he's jealous about but she's not going to?
Normal:
She didn't ask, and when I commented about it here response was "It's not my place to ask about personal matters between siblings. If you have things you want to tell me you can, other than that, you don't to say anything."
She's understanding. I felt like I should tell her, maybe then I could understand why none of my powers worked. I said it multiple times, how I wanted to. It's just that I'm not stupid. I don't trust people that quick. The only people aside from my family that knows is that perverted medium, and to lesser extent, Chōno that failure street magician. He has a good heart though.
Right, I'm getting off track. Juliet and I were right by her door. I wanted to leave but she insisted I come inside for a bit. She's just as persistent. I caved, I'm to nice. I do have to agree with one thing, the house smelled amazing. Like pastries. Her dad was in the kitchen making crepes.
Saiki's POV:
"Hey Dad!"
"Hm? Hey princess. Who's the boy?"
"Dad, this is my classmate Kusuo Saiki. Kusuo, this is my dad Benvolio Monteque."
"...It's a pleasure Mr. Monteque." Your name is Juliet Monteque and your dad's name is Benvolio? What's next? Is your brother's name Romeo?
"It's nice to meet you Kusuo. Did you two come from school?"
"No we were at the diner."
"Ah so you've met my wife? Romea?"
There it is. "Not personally sir, but I'm sure she's a wonderful person."
"Light of my life.... besides my kids of course." He seems like a nice man. Juliet's entire family seems nice. Happy. It's almost contagious. "Would you like a crepe? They're freshly made."
I love this family.
