Normal;

I woke up the next morning startled by my mother knocking on the door. I had the ring on so I couldn't hear her coming. I'm still not use to it. So just imagine how many times Juliet snuck up on me. I'm glad she cancels my powers, I might have sent her into orbit.

Saiki's POV;

"Ku! Breakfast!" I heard my mom say as she walked away from my door. I sat on the edge of my bed and slipped the ring off. "Oh I do wonder if he'll walk that cute girl to school." Mom she's not my girlfriend. She can walk herself.

I got dressed and headed downstairs with my school bag. Like always my parents were sitting at the table. Dad had the newspaper in his hands.

"Now Kusuo I want you to be nice to the new neighbors." He said. "That new girl is adorable though isn't she? Has she caught your eye?"

"I don't like her that way. She's just a new classmate." I said. It was nice to speak telepathically again. Felt like usual.

"Aww Ku. Don't be like that. You know when I was your age I had already dated 3 guys."

"Why."

"Three guys!?" Yelled my father. He dropped to his knees. "How could I compete."

"Oh don't worry honey. They never held a flame to the burning fire of love I have for you."

"Kurumi you are a saint." My dad held my mom's hands.

"I thought you were depressed"

That was my cue to leave. Don't get me wrong my parents did what they wanted when they were my age. I also know if I ended up dating they'd be more than excited regardless of who. But that's the problem with me, well not a problem but I find dating meaningless. I feel no emotion to anyone that way. It's all worthless to me. Except for...

Juliet.

Juliet's POV;

I woke up to my alarm. Well, my alarm being my kitten batting my nose with her paw. Rosaline you adorable thing.

"Juliet breakfast is ready." My father called from the kitchen. "Quickly now, you don't wanna be late. Tis only your second day."

"I'll be right there." I got up from my bed and stretched before getting dressed. It was a clear day outside, the kind that brings a smile to my face. Well, everyday I wake up brings a smile to my face. I'm an easy-going person. I gave one more look over myself before heading out, Rosaline at my heels.

"Good morning Princess." Said my dad. He was reading the morning paper. My mother was drinking her coffee. She had strawberry banana pancakes set out for my breakfast, yum!

"So what are your plans for today?" Mom asked. I picked up my fork to begin eating.

"Well it's only my second day, but I do hope to make friends."

"Don't you have that Kusuo boy?" My dad peered at me over the paper. I giggled.

"I don't think he wants to be friends. At least not now. Maybe at some point we will grow closer." I sighed slightly. "Till then I'm just happy having someone in the school that I now know."

My parents looked at each other than looked at me. They're sweethearts. They understand.

After finishing breakfast, feeding Rosaline, and cleaning up, I headed out the door. The morning air was fresh and brisk. As to be expected by a late fall morning. Peaceful. I was enjoying the birds chirping until I saw  him.
