Juliet's POV:

I woke up to the sound of my phone vibrating. I rolled over and looked at it.

"Good morning."  read the message. I smiled. It was from Kusuo.

"What a way to wake up..." I whispered to myself. Rosaline stretched out on my bed and greeted me with a soft "Mew". I patted her on the head. "Good morning Rosaline, did you sleep well?"

"Meow"

"Is that so? I slept like a log...and I had the most wonderful dream. I was a princess dancing in the moonlight alongside my prince...and guess who that was?"

"Meew."

"Yes! It was Kusuo. Oh Rosaline it was amazing."

"Mew."

"We were married and happy. He kissed me. I've never felt more at peace."

"Juliet dear, breakfast!" called my dad. I jumped out of bed and got dressed. Rosaline followed me around my room and out the door. I skipped down the stairs and into the kitchen.

"'Morning daddy! 'Morning mom!"

"Good morning honey." Said my mom as she finished plating breakfast. I got Rosaline her food and water, then joined my parents at the table.

"How was the date Princess?" asked my father as he looked over his morning paper. I smiled.

"It was amazing. Like something out of a movie." I explained. "And we kissed..."

"You kissed?" My dad raised his eyebrow. I nodded. "Did he treat you well?"

"Of course."

"Heh...and the kiss?"

"Magical." I answered. "Literally. He read my mind." I thought.

"We're so happy for you." My mom sipped her coffee. "Now finish breakfast before you do anything else."

"Right."

Saiki's POV:

I laid in bed with my hands behind my head. I stared up at the ceiling, smiling. For once I felt like everything in my life was okay. It felt like I could be happy and not regret it. I slowly sat up got out of bed.

"Ku! Breakfast!"

"I'll be right there." I stretched and got dressed, making sure to put my glasses on before walking out. I headed to the kitchen. As always my mom was cooking breakfast while my dad sipped his coffee and fixed his tie.

"Good morning honey, good morning son."

"Morning dear!"

"Hey."

"I have to get to work early. I'll see you tonight for dinner." He said, kissing my mom on the cheek.

"Alright dear. Oh, we're having Juliet over for dinner."

"We are?"

"We are?"

"We are!" my mom smiled. I looked at my dad. We were both confused.

"Guess I got to invite her now."  I smiled. "I have no problem doing that."

"Well I'm off." my dad said as he walked out the door. I started eating my breakfast. My mom kept looking back at me, smiling. She could tell I was happy. I was.

"So Ku..."

"Yeah?"

"Is she officially your girlfriend?"

I tried not to choke on my drink. I sat back in my seat and stared at my mom. I was confused at the question.

"Of course she's my girlfriend. We kissed. We went on a date."

"Sweetheart, just because you kiss someone, it doesn't mean you're a couple. Neither does dating. If that was the case, I had over thirty boyfriends before your father." she said. This time I did choke on my drink. My mom patted my back as I coughed. "Easy!"

"Sorry...I knew the truth but I wasn't expecting to hear it out loud"

"Well I have nothing to hide. It made me who I am today!"

"You're very positive...I see now that it's a great thing" I smiled. She stared at me this time. Tears filled her eyes. I was afraid that I said something wrong but that thought faded when she wrapped her arms around me.

"THAT'S THE SWEETEST THING I'VE EVER HEARD! MY BABY BOY IS GROWING UP!"

There was a knock at the door. I jumped from my seat, startled. I knew it was Juliet because she's the only one I can't sense. I slipped from my mom's bear hug and opened the door. Juliet stood in front of me, smiling, wearing a flowing knee high white dress and the flower crown I had given her.

"Good morning Kusuo. Good morning Mrs. Saiki."

"Morning Juliet!' My mom shouted from the kitchen. I rolled my eyes. Juliet giggled.

"Morning Juliet. Come on in." I stepped out of the way to let her pass. She swayed her way inside.

"Juliet are you hungry? I can get you something."

"I appreciate the offer Mrs. Saiki, but I'm quite alright." Juliet patted her stomach. "My parents refuse to let me leave the house on an empty stomach."

"Your parents sound like sweethearts. Maybe Kuniharu and me can go on a double date with them sometime!"

"That sounds delightful." Juliet agreed. I pinched the bridge of my nose.

"It's creepy how similar our parents are..."

"Indeed....but it's cute."

"OH! BETTER IDEA! Juliet can invite her parents to dinner!" My mom said, clapping. I rolled my eyes again. Juliet smiled.

"Invite my parents? I didn't even know I was eating here."

"Trust me, You probably didn't have a say to begin with...." I walked back over to my breakfast and finished what was left. My mom took my empty plate and cleaned it off in the sink. Juliet took out her phone and started texting.

"Oh, Ku can you pick up some things I need for dinner? It'll give you and Juliet some time together..."

"M-mom...I don't...ah...If you need me to run errands, fine." I tried to fight the blush in my cheeks. Juliet smirked and looked away. She stuffed her phone back into the pocket of her dress.

"I'd love to help you Kusu."

"Awww...Ku she even has a pet name for you!"

"I'm regretting everything now." I thought. Juliet's phone dinged. She looked at it and nodded.

"My parents said they'd love to come over for dinner."

''Perfect! Then I really need you two to do some shopping. Here's a list."

Juliet took the list from my mom and looked it over.

"Alright, not an issue. Shall we go Kusu?' Juliet held out her hand. I smiled, stood up, and took it with mine.

"Sure."

We walked out the door, hand in hand. I heard my mom squeal at how adorable we looked to her as we left. Juliet broke into laughter as soon as we hit the street.

"What's so funny?"

"I find it humoring that our parents, yet so similar, raised two completely different beings...but here we are, holding hands, together."

"...Are we?"

"What?"

"Together....I mean...My mother said how dating and kissing does not make someone a couple...and thinking it over, she is right...I know we just went on a date and we decided to do it again but, are we going to be a couple? Are you my girlfriend?" I looked at her. She looked up at the sky for a second before turning her gaze back to me.

"Well...do you  want me to be?"
