He Hates Me

Saiki's POV;

After waking up, getting dressed, and eating, I started for the door.

"Ku, where were you last night?"

"Sorry I was late. I was hanging with Mayumi and Juliet."

"Awww....how sweet."

"We were just hanging out, nothing more."

"I think it's wonderful. You found a lovely young woman you can be yourself around. Any plans for the day?"

"Juliet, Mayumi and me are going out. We're gonna shop around with our other.......friends......for Halloween costumes...."

"Are you guys going to do a couple costume? Please say yes! I want to take lots of pictures!"

"In that case. No." I opened the door and stopped, turning back around to my mom. "Hey Mom, can I ask you something?"

"Anything honey."

"Juliet's brother came back from army training and I got to meet him last night. I think he hates me. What should I do?"

"Hmmm...I'm sure he doesn't hate you. He's probably just surprised... coming back after such a long time and finding out that his little sister has a boyfriend. I know if I found out something like that I would be shocked. Probably even a little upset. I'm sure after he gets to know you, he will see that you are a wonderful young man."

"....Yeah....yeah you're right.... thanks mom. I'll see you later." I walked out of the house and turned to start to Juliet's. I stopped when I saw Juliet, Mayumi and Escalus on their way over.

"Kusu! Good morning!" Juliet cheered as she jogged over. Mayumi yawned and put her hands behind her head. 

"It's freaking 10 am. How are you wide awake?"

"I'm always awake by 8 on off days. I wake up. Meditate. Feed Rosaline. Shower. Get dressed. Eat....it helps me stay on track."

"I wake....and the rest is history..." I said. Escalus gave me a glare from behind Mayumi. I felt like I was being judged. Oh right, that's cause I was.

"Kusu, did you tell the others?"

"Yeah, I texted them...unfortunately they all said yes."

"Kusu!"

"Ha. You're terrible Saiki. Let's go. If i'm gonna be stuck with y'all, you better be getting me food."

"Mayumi, we just ate." said Escalus.

"Meeeehhhh."

We all got to the mall. The rest of the crew was already there, waiting. Nendo had his head in the fountain. Kaido was trying to pull him out. Teruhashi and Yumehara were staring at the two, trying their best not to look embarrassed. Toritsuka was flirting, or at least trying to. Kuboyasu was in the corner, not looking suspicious, obviously. Even Saiko was there. I never invited him.

"Nendo! Get out of the fountain!"

"Blllubao wummt ah couuuns." Nendo said under the water. 

"Hey guys!" Juliet waved. Everyone turned around swiftly.

"Juliet!"

"Jillian!" Nendo shouted, pulling his head out of the water. 

"I want you to meet someone. This is my older brother, Escalus."

"Pleasure." Escalus gave a slight bow. Teruhashi and Yumehara gasped.

"He's so hot..." Yumehara whispered. Teruhashi looked at Escalus, studying him. I backed enough away from Juliet so I could use my telepathy.
