AS THE NIGHT CONTINUED, MISSILE WAS QUICK was quick to fall asleep, and leave the rest of the team to huddle around a map they had of the zones. They had a chance to end this, but first, they would have to kill Korse to do it. Since he was posing a threat to them, with the constant attacks they were giving the group. They could only hold off so much.
"We're getting closer to zones," said Poison to the group as they were cleaning their weapons, being ready for anything.
"We have our masks correct?" Song asked her friends, and they all nodded in response, "Good this won't be as easy as it seems."
Poison nodded and grabbed the contacting device they had to talk with Dr. D and let him know what was happening, knowing he was letting the entire desert in on the news. The group was silent as he told him what exactly had happened.
It was moments later that the group heard a noise not too far from the company. All were up in a second and alert, pulling their mask to cover their mouths and nose, so only their eyes were visible. The two redheads had flared to try and light up the surrounding area.
Song's eyes widened when her eyes picked up the silhouette of drac, "They found us," she whispered.
Jet who was nearest to Missile was able to wake her and pull her close to him. Having his hand ready by his ray gun.
"On my count, I want all of you run, and we'll throw these flares at them," she told the guys behind her.
Poison who was beside her nodded and gripped his flare a little tighter. And waited for her signal.
The woman listening intently to the drac that stepped closer, "NOW!" she shouted towards Poison.
The two threw it in the dracs direction and bolted backward, not without picking up their contacting device. The group was blindly running in the dark. Tripping over small rocks that protruded from the ground. As the group continued to run blindly they all at once ran into a large boulder that they couldn't see.
Song was quick to see it was a small cave thing, and shoved all towards the entrance, "Shut up and get in," she whispered to them.
They all listened and scrambled to get into the small cave. As uncomfortable as it was, the group stayed silent. Squished they all listened to the footsteps of several dracs passing by. Holding their breaths as they finally couldn't hear them.
