A LOUD BOOM SOUNDED IN THE SMALL DESERT. In the distant sand, and rubble from the ground could be seen coming up. Shaking the ground only slightly.
Sherri had her arms crossed as her sunglasses-covered eyes looked in the distance. She and her new partner testing out the very explosive gadgets made. For the past few days, that is exactly what they had been working towards. Making explosives that were enough to go against BLi and their goons.
"That was a good one," Frank said as he looked in the distance at the now destroyed piece of ground.
The redhead nodded in agreement, "Great, we have one left to test, and let's hope it's a good one," she paused to crack her back, "It took me a couple of nights to complete." she finished with a grumble.
Moving her hand to a device she walked further into the desert to rock and placed it over it. Clicking several buttons she had made to activate it, as soon as the clicking went off. The redhead jogged away from the small way the clicking becoming more distant. Then stopping to stand next to Frank.
The two listened as the clicking continued until it came to a complete stop. Nothing happened, so the two turned to each other with confused faces.
"The fuck?" Sherri whispered under her breath, her eyes narrowing at the sight of the small device sitting on a rock.
"Hey, guys what are you—" Ray's voice interrupted but before he could finish. A boom of an explosion happened. Causing poor Ray to shriek in surprise. The large boulder that the device had been sitting on, was completely obliterated.
The three had ducked in defense, as the loud explosion had happened. Carefully the three stood up again and looked at the area of the explosion. Not only had it destroyed the stone, but created a small enough crator in the ground.
"Holy shit, Sher," Ray said with a laugh, as he looked at the damage, "With that, we won't have any problems with Better Living."
"You got that right," Frank added as he was a bit shaken from the explosion that had just happened not too long ago.
Sherri then removed her glasses, and placing them over her head, "Now this is good," she said with a smirk. Patting the backs of her comrades, and turning back to the warehouse.
