If that's the best that I could be?
Than I'd be another memory
Can I be the only hope for you?
Because you're the only hope for me—

╚══════════════╝SHERRI GROANED AS SHE DRAGGED THE LARGE PIECE of scrap metal. After she and Gerard had found the warehouse, it seemed it was only her that was going to be remodeling the place. Moving things around because it was all a mess. At least he was the one to remove the bodies from the large building.
The raven-headed man didn't do much besides look all over the building to find well anything. While he paid mind to Sherri who was struggling to move things all over the place. It wasn't that he didn't want to help. Well, it was but he just didn't get why she was moving things around.
Finally putting something down, the redhead huffed in accomplishment. She had moved a large piece of metal outside. She planned to make the place look rundown from the outside. To make sure that no one did go and snooping inside, because they were curious. Finally walking back inside she closed the door behind her and walked over to the windows. Moving the blinds so they would be getting some sort of light. The place was far from where she wanted it to be. There were would have to be more often trips to the outside to get where she needed to be.
"Oh did you finish dragging all of that stuff out?" Gerard's voice came through the large place. His voice slightly echoing.
The girl rolled her eyes, "Yeah no thanks to you," she finished and walked over to the place where the small garage held the vehicle they had first found.
"You know that thing is probably ancient, and will not turn on," he told his new friend, as he watched her go over to it.
Sherri once again rolled her eyes at his pessimism, "You could have a little hope you know?" she told him as she opened the door to the very dusty car.
Getting inside she noticed that the inside was dusty as well. Given this car had been sitting for ages without it being used. Taking her hands she opened the visor to see if any keys were in there. No luck. She continued to brush her hands all over the vehicle. Center console, glove compartment, the back seats. It was when eventually she looked over at the speedometer, she saw a pair of keys with dice attached to them.
Sherri grinned at the sight and grabbed them. She figured there must be a hole where they would be placed. Not knowing where it goes since she never had driven a car in her life. She saw them around Battery City but was never inclined to know more about them.
Eventually, she found where the key went and turned it forward. It was by some miracle that the car actually rumbled to life. Sherri laughed in disbelief at the sound. The lights in the car turning on slightly. Stepping out of the car she smiled wide at her friend.
