I'll tell you all how the story ends
Where the good guys die and the bad guys win
(Who cares?)
This ain't about all the friends you made
But the graffiti they write on your grave

IT WAS THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. The fire they had started had gone out. Everyone was asleep and snoring. That was all except Sherri Gray. She lay on her back, staring up at the stars in the sky. All shining bright, nothing bad ever happening to them. Well, that's to Sherri. Scientifically you were looking into the past when you could see stars. Because they were so far away, we couldn't see if they truly were there.

Not that she cared, because only two things were running through her head at the moment. Missle, and the boys. She wished that she could save them from whatever would be happening in a few hours. If only she could go on her own to prevent them from ever stepping place in Battery City again.

There was no other feeling going through her other than fear. Not of who she was facing, but in fear that all their work would come to an end. The lives of The fabulous Five would finally come to an end. The very enemies of BLi would perish, but she knew that she and her group would never truly die. They were bulletproof.

The visions of the blue-haired man and the Phoenix Witch invaded her head. Hearing their apologetic voices talk to her as if she was there. This was sadly the life she was made to live. The life that was made for her the moment she was born.

Sherri Gray the daughter of a couple who worked for BLi, rebelling to release the weapon of the city. The mission she was given. She hoped that wherever her brother was that he was proud. That she had listened to his message. Waking up from the lies Batt City tried feeding her. Leaving and swearing to destroy it if she had to.

Snapping her out of her thoughts, she felt her hand being gripped tightly. Squeezing back, she turned to Ray who now lay beside her awake.

"I thought you were asleep," she whispered, careful not to wake the others, who snored loudly.

"I knew you weren't asleep, so how could I?" he whispered back, his eye watching the stars move slightly across the sky.

Sherri turned to face him. He shuffled and did the same. They couldn't see each other clearly but only the silhouettes of each other.

"Until the end, you watch over me," she sighed her voice still a whisper lifting her hand to trace the eye patch.

Lifting his hand to grab her wrist from his face, "And until the very end I will," he replied.
