If we were all like you in the end
Oh, we'd be killin' ourselves by sleepin' in
So hit the lights, I'll do it again
And keep your cars, and your dogs
And your famous friends well, alright

IT WAS AN ODD OCCURENCE YOU CAN SAY when three teenage boys ran away together, even without knowing each other. Just like every other escapee from Battery City. They stumbled and cursed their way out of the city. They were tired and bored of the city.

A very unlikely reason why they escaped. Like Gerard and Sherri, they had the mentality that they were free from an evil corporation. For these three boys, they were escaping a reality that they were bored from. Something so chaotic as boredom raced them out of the city. Now their mission was to survive and find adventure within the deadly desert they all heard so much about.

"Well, what do we do now?" the one with curly hair asked his "friends."

The other two were breathing hard also not knowing what to do, so they shrugged.

"Well I suggest with maybe names you know?" he told the two boys who were beginning to calm their ragged breathing.

The one who was covered in tattoos nodded at the suggestion, "Frank, Frank Iero," he let the two unknown boys know.

The curly-haired one nodded, "Ray Toro," he replied, sticking his hand out to shake. In which Frank returned happily.

The last boy who had yet to say something looked up and nodded, "I'm Mikey Way," he said softly.

The group smiled at each other—well Frank and Ray did at least. The skinny brunette didn't say anything. It seemed that his mind was occupied somewhere else.

It was lucky that these three had escaped when they did. They weren't totally alone in the hot, hot, desert. Where interesting and dangerous creatures lived. Like spiders in which Frank wasn't too keen on meeting or seeing, or getting near. It was mostly Frank that was afraid of many things.

The trio had been trudging through the desert for a few days, without finding anything. They were beginning to feel helpless as they couldn't find anything. Days seemed to drag on forever. They had been lucky enough to find some stray cans of food, that kept them alive.

Mikey was the worst of the group. His eyes never left the air. They were always searching for something. He never said what and remained silent, keeping his eyes out for whatever it was that he was looking for. His forehead creasing more as each day went on by. Another day, another failure. He didn't find him. He didn't even know if he ever would. It had been a couple of years since his brother had left him back in Battery City. He didn't blame him. Not one bit. Even as young as they had been, he noticed his brother falling into a helpless hole within his own mind. It was both his own sanity and due to the things, BLi shoved into his brain. So when the day came and he packed a bag and ran into the night, Mikey hadn't blinked. Of course, he missed his older brother. They had grown up together in such odd circumstances. Their parents never home, leaving the Way brothers to care for themselves. And Gerard was a perfect brother to do so. All he hoped was that he can know if he truly was out here. Even if he is dead, all he wanted was a sign.
