VORMIR 2011
THE wind was blowing what small amount of hair Tony had resting on his head, the cool air nipping at the goosebumps on his arms, and the snow crunching under his boots. Tony had come all alone, and he was now regretting it as he dragged a heavy case behind his back.
Once at the top, Tony stopped and took a deep breath, he wiped the sweat from his forehead and dropped his supplies to the floor. Looking around he took in his surroundings. The purple sun setting in the distance. The hazy clouds that came rolling in above him, just as he rounded the corner he came into full view of the mountain top.
"Anthony, Son of Howard," said a distant voice from behind him. Tony turned his head violently at the sound and looked behind him to find where it was coming from. out of the shadows came a mysterious man in a dark cloak. Tony adjusted the tinted glasses on his face and looked the mysterious man up and down. He had read all about the Soul Stone, and its healing properties. but thought it was only a myth.
"Ah!... Creppy Redskull guy," Tony says in response, turning back around and walking closer towards the edge of the cliff. RedSkull only shook his head slowly at Tony's nickname and followed closely behind him.
"What you seek can't be achieved," RedSkull said vigorously. Tony crooked his head and made eye contact with RedSkull.
"And whys that Mr. Ketchup man?" Tony asked sarcastically. RedSkull shook off his rather annoying behavior and continued.
"If you truly wish to seek the Soul Stone, you must sacrifice one of that you love," He answered watching as Tony looked down at the ground his face falling slightly. "seeing as it is just you, you have no such need to be here any longer." He Finished Hovering above him slightly.
Tony looked up to RedSkull a fake disheartened look on his face.
"If you insist, I must leave, then I'll leave." He says mocking RedSkulls weird voice. turning away from the edge of the cliff and venturing his way back to where he left his heavy baggage. RedSkull nodded rather aggravated with Tony Starks immaturity and faded back into the shadows.
Once Tony was back to his belongings, he nealed down, and opened the bag, looking in he saw his nanotech, a beautiful well-crafted piece of technology he had been working on for years. it was designed much like Jarvis but has all the data, and designs his father had created back in the '40s. giving it one last look of adoration, he zipped the bag back up and headed straight for the edge of the cliff.
"What are you doing!" RedSkull demanded, he quickly moved from his hiding in the shadows after spotting Tony approaching the end of the cliff quickly. Before RedSkull could reach, Tony had already thrown the bag off the cliff.
"What have you done!?" RedSkull asked violently. Tony turned around after watching the bag hit the stone at the bottom of the cliff with a shatter.
"My friend, I have just sacrificed one that I love," he said placing his hands behind his back rocking on his heels. RedSkull was infuriated and rushed over to Tony looking down at the shattered nanotech at the bottom of the cliff.
"That won't work!" RedSkull stated loudly. Tony snickered next to him and looked down again at his precious technology. Hiding the sadness he truly felt watching years of work be destroyed.
"I'd re-think that" Tony stated calmly. Before RedSkull could respond a bright light consumed them and tony awoke with the Soul stone in his hand.
