Perception

~CHAPTER 20~

HYDRA SIBERIAN FACILITY, present day

Bucky landed hard onto the platform right next to Seph, he knew for a fact he had broken a few ribs in the process of landing but brushed it off as Tony flew up to attack him. Buck looked over at Seph quickly and noticed she had lost conciseness on the fall. Grabbing the metal pipe next to him, Bucky deflected Tony's punch. Tony swung and Bucky dodged it, standing behind him, Tony wrapped his arms around Bucky's neck.

"Do you even remember them?" Tony whispered in his ear. Bucky didn't hesitate,

"I remember all of them," His voice cracked as he said it. Tony flew backward, and Steve lunged at them, when they all collided, they fell to the floor.

When Steve landed, he rolled down another level, and into a cement room with single openings showing the soft fresh snow outside the facility. Tony climbed from the spot on the ground and towards Steve.

Bucky rolled over holding back a groan of pain. he landed on one of the lower platforms and glanced up towards Seph, who still lay unconscious. He wanted to go up and help her, but he knew Steve would need his help.

"This isn't gonna change what happened," Steve stated. Tony looked towards him, as they both caught their breath.

"I don't care," Tony said calmly. "He killed my mom," He said before marching towards Steve and the two began fighting again. the two flew through the air and land slamming one another into the ground. Bucky jumped into the scene and landed next to Steve, and the three continued fighting.

When Seph opened her eyes, she felt an unendurable amount of pain, and rolled over letting out a yell trying to stay strong, she could hear the men fighting, and looked down noticing Steve's shield on the ground. she jumped down gracefully and took the shield before leaping into the fight, She hit Tony in the back with the shield and he turned around quickly to blast her in the chest, she reflected it with the shield. Seph quickly threw the shield at Steve, and he caught it using it to attack Tony. All three fought Tony, dodging and throwing hits. Tony blasted Steve into the wall, and Tony and Bucky began a back and forth combat. using his Lazer ray, Bucky used all his strength to keep his arm away from him and the Lazer went straight through the ceiling. Seph ran to help Steve, and Bucky pushed tony against the wall trying to great out his arch reactor. Buck let out a blood-curdling scream, and Tony blasted him right in the arm sending him flying across the room. He landed on his knees, and Seph stood in shock, Buckys arm had fallen off. he was left one-armed. Steve got to his knees and raced towards Tony while Seph ran over to Bucky.

When Steve's shield and Tony Lazer came into contact it created a line of light as the two forces pushed against each other. They continued fighting until Tony gained the strength to blast him across the room. He stood over Steve and Bucky who lie on the floor, he almost forgot about his daughter. he still didn't allow his brain to comprehend what he had already done to cause harm to her. But as she flew in over his shoulder and knocked him hard, he turned around ready to attack. resisting slightly Tony shot Seph in the lower abdomen, and she buckled over in pain. h turned back to steve who sat on his knees out of breath.

"He's my friend," He said. Tony stood still.

"So was I,"

Tony punched Steve and then threw him into the wall. "Stay down final warning," But Steve stood to his feet tiredly.

"I can do this all day," He said prepping his hands to punch. Right as Tony was about to blast him, Bucky reached out and grabbed hold of his leg. Tony kicked his way and Seph lunged towards him on the floor. Steve used this as an advantage and picked Tony upholding him over his head before slamming him into the floor. He climbed on to of him and punched Tony over and over again. Seph watched shocked, but buried her face into Buckys Neck, Keeping herself from watching. Steve grabbed hold of his shield and slammed it into Tony's chest, he stoped halfway through and left it there as his arch reactor flicked on and off. He laid back out of breath while Tony blinked at the sealing eyes wide. Using the last set that he had, Steve stood and yanked the shield from Tony's chest.

Persephone didn't even realize she was crying until Steve helped her up and she felt the tears hit her face. The two then held Bucky's stand and they both used their shoulders to support his weight. Tony rolled to his side and watched as they tried to walk away.

"Persephone Grace, I can't believe who you've become!" Tony yelled and she held back a sob her back face to him. "I can't believe you chose them over me, and your sister!" He shouted. she attempted to block him out but they all heard her sobs of pain and heartbreak.

"Steve! that shield doesn't belong to you!" Tony continued yelling. "You don't deserve it!". Steve stopped walking and stood still in his place. "My father made that shield!" Tony screamed. Steve took a deep breath and dropped it to the floor, the sound echoed through the room.

"Persephone!" Tony yelled one last time, She turned her head to look at him. "Don't come home," He said, she stared into his eyes her face numb but her emotions riping from inside her. "Don't come near me, or Bethany, Your not my daughter," he said. she took a deep breath and let a single tear slide down her cheek, she wiped it away, and she, Steve, and Bucky walked away slowly as Tony held back his tears watching them walk out of his life.
