~CHAPTER 19~

HYDRA SIBERIAN FACILITY , present day

Landing the Jet cautiously, Steve turned around in his seat and stood to wake up Persephone. Bucky also got up from his seat and loaded his gun.

"Hey Seph," Steve shook her awake. she opened her eyes slowly and rubbed her eyes. her wounds weren't healed yet, but she still threw on her corset and place her hod over her head.

the door opened slowly into the soft snow, and the two men stood in front of her staring ahead.

"you remember that time we had to ride back from Rockaway beach in the back of that freezer tuck?" Steve asked Bucky a smile on his face. Buckey turned to face him,

"Was that the time we used our train money, to buy hot dogs?" He asked his eyes bright a small smirk on his face. Seph looked back and forth between the two and held back a laugh.

"You blew three bucks trying to win that stuffed bear for a redhead," He said laughing slightly.

"What was her name again?" Bucky asked smiling too,

"Dolores, you called her dot," Steve answered looking straight ahead. Seph slapped their backs in unison and walking past them. she turned around halfway down the ramp and smirked

"That was cute," She said continuing down the ramp. Steve rolled his eyes and Bucky softly smiled at her as they all left the Jet.

walking in between Steve, who led the way, and Bucky who stood behind and guarded them with his gun, the trio approached the door to the base, and they slowly crept inside. Once in the elevator Seph stood in between the two and looked up slightly to give Steve a smile even though she was still in so much pain and was hurt. the elevator landed with a thud and Steve opened the doors. Bucky led the way with his gun pointed ready to fire if anyone was to attack. Seph climbed the stairs behind James and came to a halt when the doors slowly began to open. Steve stood in front now and covered Seph with the shield, and Bucky pointed his gun straight at the door.

"Ready?" Steve asked him.

"Yeah," Bucky answered,

the doors opened all the way, and Tony Stepped out, he drew back his helmet. He stood still making direct eye contact with Seph, she let out a shaky breath that didn't go noticed by Bucky.

"You seem a little defensive," Tony said, as Steve began approaching him

"It's been a long day," Steve said

"At ease, soldier. I'm not currently after you," Tony shouted towards Bucky who was still standing firm pointing his gun at Tony.

"Then why are you here?" Seph asked serious, anger, and pain trying to hide in her voice. Tony looked towards her, he had so much he wanted to say but didn't know what,

"Ross doesn't know I'm here, Id like to keep it that way." He said calmly. "Otherwise I gotta arrest myself," He said sarcastically.

"Well that sounds Like a lot of paperwork," Steve said, causing Tony to scoff. "It's good to see you, Tony," He said lowering his shield.

"You too Cap," He said before looking back over at Seph who kept her eyes at the ground so they wouldn't glaze over with water. looking towards Bucky now, and noticing he still had his gun pointed at him he laughed "Hey, Manchurian candidate, you're killing me. there's a truce here, you can drop the gun." He said Bucky sighed and lower it looking towards Seph who shook her head annoyed with him.

approaching an entrance to a large room. Tony held out his hand "I got heat signatures," He stated.

"How many?" Steve asked walking up behind him. Seph could sense something was wrong she allowed her hand to shine a soft glow preparing to attack if a threat occurs.
