~CHAPTER 17~

BERLIN AIRPORT present day

"Are you ready for this?" Steve asked Persephone as she walked up next to him.

"I Don't know what this... is, " she said trying to find a way to word it. Steve nodded and stood tall.

"Sam and Buck are in the terminal, there looking for the jet to get out of this place." He said. Seph nodded her head and brushed away her nerves. Steve could tell she was worried so he placed his hand on her shoulder.

"Hey, look. I don't know how your father is going to react to all of this... But don't worry, just stay by my side and follow my lead." He said. she swallowed hard and nodded her head. and just like that, the two were walking side by side out into the open bay of the airport.

Running towards a helicopter In search of her father Seph jolted as he came flying down from above with Rhodey by his side. landing with a thud Tony stood still and even though he had his helmet on Seph could feel the harsh glare of him staring straight at her.

"wow it's so weird how you run into people at the airport, don't you think that's weird?" he said sarcastically turning to look a Rhodey they both drew back their helmets and Rhodey responded

"Definitely weird"

"Hear me out Tony, that doctor, the psychiatrist, he's behind all of this," Cap Stated reaming calm, Seph couldn't dare make eye contact with her dad she knew what would happen if he did so she stood slightly behind Cap and kept her gaze on the floor.

out of nowhere, Tacha'lla jumped from behind some crates and landed swiftly on the ground in front of them. "Captian," He said.

Cap looked him up and down. "Your highness," he said. Seph glanced up from the ground and towards Tacha'lla who headed towards her Father.

"Anyway, ross gave me 36 hours to bring you in, all of you," Tony said looking at Seph. "That was 24 hours ago,"

"You're after the wrong people," Cap said Seph looked towards him but his eyes were locked on Tony.

"Your judgment is askew," Tony said forcefully. "Your old war buddy killed innocent people yesterday,"

"And there are five others just like him." Cap retorted "I can't let the doctor find him first tony, I can't," he said sincerely.

"Steve, Persephone, You know what's about to happen," Natasha said coming up behind them. Cap turned around and locked eyes with Nat. "Do you really wanna punch your way out of this one?" She asked cautiously. Looking away from Nat, Seph finally gained the confidence to make eye contact with her father, he was staring right at her. a resentful look on his face.

"All right, I've run out of patience," he said "Underoos" He shouted. Out of nowhere, a man came flying in and grabbed Cap's shield and tied his hands together using some kind of sticky web. he landed on a car nearby. "Nice job kid," Tony said as the man looked up heroically holding Steves's shield in one arm.

"Thanks, well I could have stuck the landing a little better, it's just its new suit."Seph's eyes grew wide recognizing his voice. all she knew was that was definitely not a man. "Wait it's nothing Mr. Stark it- it's perfect.". from behind more crates Bethany approached and stood beside the spider kid.

"Yeah we don't really need to start a conversation," Tony said over towards the kid. Seph kept her eyes on Beth, she was devastated to be standing here against her sister but was also so proud because she was finally seeing her in her suit and part of the team. even if that team wasn't the same as hers.

"Cap-cap-captain, Big fan, Spiderman," The kid said saluting Steve.

"Peter," Beth said patting his back getting him to shut up. Seph froze she thought she heard her sister wrong.
