SOMEWHERE SOUTH OF VIRGINIA June 2015
Bucky walked fast as he trekked his way down a deserted highway. coming near a convince store. He adjusted the old book bag on his back and pulled the cap down on his head. the pavement blurred in the distance as the heat waves radieated off the ground.
The bell rang overhead alerting the old woman behind the counter, she waved, and Buckey greeted her with a passing nodded before making his way to the freezer section holding bottles of water. Stocking up on water, beef jerky, and a pack of bubble gum. He approached the woman behind the counter and placed his items down.
"Road trip?" The woman asked curiously scanning the items. Bucky waved a fly from his face and stared at the woman confused. She looked up at him after not hearing a response. Bucky noticed this and shook his head reaming silent. "Your total's gonna be $14.64," she said placing his food in a bad.
Bucky pulled out a 20 dollar bill and paid for his items. He had a 100 dollar bill and a few fives remaining. He knew he had to make it last. Leaving the store and stepping back out into the heat, James continued his march down the street hoping to reach the Dulles international airport he saw and circled on the map he had stored in his back pocket. allowing his mind to flash pictures of his past.
AVENGERS COMPOUND new york present day
Persephone woke to a loud ding in her ear. Jolting up, and looking around her room rubbing the tired from her eyes, she took notice of the bright morning light shining in through the window next to her bed. She then remembered last night and the fight in Lagos.
Hearing another ding from her phone, she looked down to see 224 unread texts from Peter and Ned's group chat. Rolling her eyes she opened them.
Reaching the end of the Text convo she saw two texts from her friends.
PETER ONE KENOBI
OMG!!! Seph R U okay saw what happened in Lagos you were there!

Yeah, Seph u good?

yeah, I'm good, Might miss school tomorrow, can you take notes for me tho?
