I know she's hiding something, it's obvious really. Mom and Dad don't seem to notice though. Sam has been in her room all day and when she's not there she is either eating or watching TV. Last year she was so happy, she was out all the time with Noah or Lily. When she came home she was upbeat and I loved spending time with her. Sam even took me out a bunch of times with her two friends during the summer.

I haven't seen Lily since school started. I think that's why Sam is so sad. I wish I could bring Lily back for Sam but I don't know where she is. I wish Sam still wanted to hang out with me though. The kids in class don't really like me, they call me a teacher's pet. They aren't mean to me like they are to Clara but none of them want to play with me. I have tried to be nice to Clara but she just ignores me.

Everyone thinks Clara is weird because she has two dads. I didn't know you could have two dads and I asked Clara about it. She looked at me like I was stupid and told me they were called gay and that some people love their own genders. I thought that was strange.
