I went into the bathroom to check on Sam. I didn't like to see her sad. Noah and Max were busy talking and didn't notice me slipping away. I stop when I see Sam leaning against Lily holding Lily's head like they were, kissing? They jump apart a second later.
"Ricky!" Sam says, I think I wasn't supposed to see that. Why was she kissing Lily? I remember about Clara's dads. Is Sam... gay?
Why didn't Sam tell us? Is she not supposed to be gay? Maybe it's because she is afraid we would make fun of her like people make fun of Clara. I wouldn't make fun of her. This must be why Sam was so sad, she didn't tell anyone about Lily. It all comes to me then, what Noah said to Max, the sneaking around, the sadness.
Sam doesn't say anything else, she leads me out of the bathroom where we see Noah and Max running towards us.
"Come on, we should go," Sam says to Noah. Noah looks apologetically at Max but follows me and Sam out of the building. I look back and see Lily and Max looking after us with concerned looks on their faces. I'm worried too, I don't really understand, why would Sam want to kiss another girl? Will I want to kiss a boy or girl when I grow up?
