I can't believe it, I'm finally here, platform 9 ¾, well almost, I haven't gone through the wall yet. I'm a little nervous but mostly excited. We met the Weasleys at the train station, we let Charlie go first, then Percy, Fred ran through the wall, then it was me next because George insisted 'Ladies First'. I ran towards the wall, getting more and more nervous as I got closer, closed my eyes and when I opened them, I was on platform 9 ¾. Fred greeted me and soon George was with us too, then our parents came through to say their last goodbyes. Once our parents left, we started to load our trunks on the train. I accidently dropped mine and a boy who looked my age tripped over it.
"Oh no! I'm so sorry, let me help you up." I exclaimed while offering him my hand.
"It's ok," he said, taking my hand, "accidents happen and I should have been watching where I was going, my name's Cedric Diggory by the way."
"I'm Rayne Dutchman, pleased to meet you and again, I'm sorry."
"It's all good, say, would you mind if I sat with you on the train?"
"She's already sitting with us." George said, sounding a bit aggravated.
"He can sit with us, can't he? There are four seats in a compartment after all." I said, a little curious to why George doesn't seem to like him.
    "I guess so."
"Then it's settled, you'll come sit with us Cedric, after we get my trunk on the train, mind helping me?"
    "Sure Rayne." Cedric said joyfully.
Once we all got talking, George seemed to like Cedric a bit more and we all got along well. I could tell that Cedric would become a close friend of mine.
"Oh Rayne, you had said in your last letter that you had something you wanted to talk to us about, do you want to talk about that?" Fred asked after a while.
"Oh right, I had almost forgotten."
"Did you want me to leave while you talk to them?" Cedric asked.
"No, it's ok, it's nothing private you can't know."
"So what is it?" George asked, puzzled.
"Well, remember how the three of us used to talk about hoping to all become Gryffindors together? Well, I can't shake the feeling that I won't be a Gryffindor."
"So what do you think you'll be if not Gryffindor?" They asked curiously.
    "I'm not sure, maybe Ravenclaw?"
"Well no matter our houses, we'll still be your friends."
"Thank you guys, what house do you think you'll be in Cedric?"
"I come from a long line of Hufflepuffs, so I'm probably Hufflepuff."
It seemed like we all talked forever but the train ride on the Hogwarts Express also felt like it flew by. I'll be a little sad if I end up in Ravenclaw all alone, but either way, I do still have these three as my friends. Eventually we were told that the train would be getting to Hogwarts in about ten minutes and that we should get our robes on. We all went to get changed one at a time to not have others take our compartment.
"We've arrived at Hogwarts, get your trunks and get off the train." the conductor told all of us.
