As promised, here's the chapter to make up for the last being so short. Hope it's a good read so far.

Enjoy :)

I'm glad I made some friends in other houses. Potions homework had started to pile up on me but Danica offered her help and also explained to me that she had gotten my letter but her dog had eaten it before she could read its content. She told me she hoped that it didn't hurt my feelings and that as long as she's at Hogwarts, I should be able to send her letters without worry of them being eaten. Flying and Charms weren't a struggle for me, I had even been enlisted to help Draguar with his mounting abilities in flying class and to help a Gryffindor boy named Marcus Staghart with the levitation charm; 'Leviosa'. I was doing fairly well in all my other lessons too. I also became an example student in Herbology, Transfigurations and DADA.
George and I had made a plan to spend more time together but now because we're basically drowning in homework, we work on homework together. Although doing homework is not the ideal activity when spending time with a best friend, it was good we were doing it. We were still meeting on Wednesdays to play Gobstones and on Saturdays, Cedric started to stay till about mid-afternoon rather than leaving at lunch. I love how close we all are and I hope nothing ever changes that.
On the subject of friends, Ash, Bryony and Chloe had all come to me to apologize for not returning my letters, each gave their own reasons, none of which didn't make sense. Bryony isn't often around because she has an older brother in Ravenclaw named Chester and she tries to spend as much time with him as possible, but Ash and Chloe can often be found in the common room so whenever I'm free or don't have other plans, they joyfully invite me to hangout with them. I've also started to hangout with Draguar more, he's very kind with no one breathing down his neck. We have to call our meetings study sessions, otherwise Sage would nag at him that he shouldn't be hanging around a bubbly Hufflepuff. I wouldn't exactly describe myself as such but I guess she's not completely wrong.
"I admire how much of a natural you are on a broom, hadn't you said you hadn't even flown before coming to Hogwarts?" Draguar asked me.
"Thank you! You're right, I hadn't flown until I got here."
"That's amazing, I've been flying since I was probably 6 years old and look at me now, being tutored in flying by a first timer... Oh wow! I'm sorry, that came off really rude to you."
"It's ok and I can understand the frustration, just keep to our lessons and you should be just as good as everyone in no time, if not better." I gave him a wink.
"Haha, thanks Rayne."
"I have to go meet George and Fred now, see you around?"
"Absolutely, see ya."
I walked to the Great Hall, expecting the twins to be there, but I got there to find only a small group of students, Cedric being one, who told me the library might be where I can find them. I then made my way to the library and to my surprise, they weren't there either. I decided the last place I'd be allowed to check would be the courtyard because it was too late for them to be in Hogsmeade and I'm not allowed in the Gryffindor common room. I made my way to the courtyard and thankfully they were there.
"I've been looking for you guys everywhere, what's up guys?" I asked curiously. They knew I was meeting with Draguar tonight so why'd they pull me away?
"We wanted to ask you if you'd spend some of the summer at the burrows?" they asked together.
"Guys, you know I love spending time at your house, of course I would. I'm curious why you had to ask me now though? There's still three weeks to summer break and you knew I was with Draguar."
"Uh, we wanted to ask you before someone else did." George answered.
"Are you feeling ok George? You don't seem like yourself."
"I'm fine Rayne, I promise."
"If you say so, I'll see you guys tomorrow in Charms."
I said my goodnights to them and headed to the Hufflepuff common room, once I got there, Cedric invited me to sit on the couch with him.
"So why were you looking for the twins? Aren't they usually easy to find?" he asked me as I sat down.
"Yeah they are, they wanted to ask me to spend some of the summer at the burrows."
"There's still three weeks of school left though, why so early?"
"George said in case someone else asks me but he didn't seem like himself."
"I'm sure he's just making sure he'll get to see his best friend, and actually while we're on the topic of summer, I was wondering if you and the twins would like to spend a week at my house."
"I can't speak for them but I'd love to."
"I'll ask the twins tomorrow in Charms."
The twins agreed to go to Cedric's for a week in the summer and the last three weeks of school became a blur. Before I had even realized it, I had written my exams and was packing my trunk. I feel a little guilty that I'll be spending most of the summer away from home, but my parents understand it gets lonely for me at home. I'm very excited to go to Cedric's and the burrows.
