Thankfully, the rest of the break flew by because I was starting to feel lonely despite having my parents with me. I had my truck packed and ready to go three days before I was supposed to go back to Hogwarts. George and I had exchanged at least one letter a day, I also got a few letters from Cedric and Starling, along with a letter from Draguar apologizing about Sage, hoping I had a Happy Christmas and telling me how he had to sneak off to write this letter to me. I didn't get a letter back from Sage, which was understandable, but I also didn't receive from Danica, Ash, Bryony or Chloe, I'm sure there's an explanation though.
Speaking of letters, Cedric and George both told me they'd meet me at the train station so that we can all go back to Hogwarts together. I think that maybe the four of us should do what The Marauders had done, write our names under the seats in a compartment and always sit there. I may be crazy to say that, we're only 11, who knows whether we'll be friends in 2 years or even in 6 months but I have a feeling we'll be friends till the end.
"Let's get your trunk in the car darling, time to head to the train station." My dad called from the front door.
"Coming dad!" I called back while grabbing Daisy's cage with her inside.
Once we got to the station, we met up with the Weasleys and Diggorys. Mr. Diggory thanked me and my mom for the delicious treats before saying his goodbyes to Cedric. All of our parents said their goodbyes and one by one we made our way through the wall to platform 9 ¾. Just like the first time we got on the Hogwarts Express, George, Fred, Cedric and I sat in a compartment together and talked for what seemed like forever.
"Hey Rayne, thank you for not tripping me with your trunk this time." Cedric said while laughing.
"Be careful what you say Cedric, we're not at Hogwarts yet, I could still trip you at Hogsmeade." I returned, unable to stop laughing.
"Is that a threat Rayne?" He joked playfully.
"Depends on how you take it." I joked back, playfully nudging him.
We got off the train, without anyone being tripped by a trunk and said goodnight to Fred and George before making our way to our common rooms. Cedric and I said our goodnights and headed off to our dorms. How great it is to be back.

I know that this one is short so I'll be posting the next chapter right away to make up for it. Also, please vote and comment, I'd love to get feedback and know what you all think of the story so far.

Take care :)
