CHAPTER 20

3rd person's POV

An hour passed, Jeongyeon and the others entered Nayeon's room. They saw Nayeon and Harin, sleeping peacefully at the bed.

"Shall we wake them up?" Dahyun asked, whispering.
"No. Let's leave them like that." Tzuyu answered.
"So, should we go back at the cafeteria?" Chaeyoung asked.
"We'll stay here. I'll just call Mrs. Bae, if anything happens." Jeongyeon stated.

They sat at the couch, while the others occupy the other bed, that was provided for the guardian. Minutes passed, the maknae line fell asleep together with Sana and Momo.
Jihyo, Jengyeon and Mina were the only ones who were awake.

"I didn't expect this coming." Jeongyeon said.
"The what?" Jihyo asked.
"This thing. When we're staying at a hospital, because Nayeon passed out." The older said.
"But, it is a blessing in disguise." Mina spoke.
"Mina's right. She maybe confined in a hospital, but she had met her cousin." Jihyo agreed.
"Yeah. you're right." Jeongyeon sighs.

She then notice that Nayeon is awake, so she stood up and went to the latter.

"Hey, you okay?" Jeongyeon asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Where's my parents by the way?" The bunny-looking girl asked, rubbing her eyes.
"They went home for awhile. But they will come back later." Jeongyeon answered.
"Is everyone's asleep?" The latter asked.

Jeongyeon looked behind her, and she saw that Jihyo and Mina fell asleep.

"Yeah. How was your talk with your cousin?" She said.
"It was great. Though she ended up, crying and eventually fall asleep." Nayeon responded.
"Tzuyu also told us the story. And we kinda understand Harin." Jeongyeon stated.
"It is very painful for her. She said, that we were inseparable and that changes, when I lost my memories." Nayeon said.

Nayeon's eyes were watery, and she's clearly trying her best to stop her tears from falling. But she fails eventually.

"I feel like a bad cousin for her. I feel so useless and dumb. I want to bring all my memories back, but I can't" Nayeon said, tears are flowing down on her cheeks.

Jeongyeon hugged Nayeon, and draw circles at her back.

"Shhh.. It's okay, Nabongie.. I'm sure that Harin will understand you." Jeongyeon said.

"But I want to see her, grow up. I want to be part of her milestone. I want to see her, being happy with me." The latter sobs.

"It's okay Nayeon. I'm sure that you have a part of her milestone. Trust me, you'll remember everything. Don't cry okay. You'll become ugly if you continue to cry." Jeongyeon stated, and Nayeon frown.

"Nonsense. I won't became ugly. Being ugly doesn't exist on my vocabulary." Nayeon stated.

Jeongyeon let out a soft laugh, and shows a warm smile towards Nayeon.

Jennie's POV

When the bells rang, I immediately went to the gym to open try-outs.

"Hey Jen, ready for the try-outs?" Chungha sunbae asked me. She's the former captain of the cheerleaders, and now she's our coach

"Yes sunbae-nin!" I said, and raised my fist.

"Okay. Let's start." She said, and she starts to call the participants.

Moments passed, All of the participants have performed. But I haven't saw Somi. I smirk and turn to face Chungha sunbae.

"Sunbae-nim, I think we're done." I said
"Hmm, you're right. I think there's no one left to audition." She said.

She turned and face the participants.

"Okay guys, We'll post the names of the ones we pick for the new-" Chungha sunbae was cutted off, when someone spoke.

"Sorry I am late. My class were just dismissed by now" It was Somi. She was panting, and catching her breath.

Chungha sunbae stopped talking, and look at Somi.

"What's your name?" Chunga sunbae asked.

"Somi. Jeon Somi." She said, politely.

"From what class?" Chungha sunbae asked again.

"Class 1-C" she answer.

"Okay. I'll give you a chance." Chungha sunbae exclaimed.

I know that she's quite irritated at Somi, because she was cutted-off by that bitch. Somi looked at me, and smirk. I gave her a blank face, and rolled my eyes. After that, Chungha sunbae played a song, and Somi started to dance.

Honestly speaking, She's a great dancer. Her body sways to the rhythm. Her expression also fits the music. And her moves are so smooth.

When the song was finished, everyone gave her a round of applause, and she bows her head.

Chungha sunbae stood up, and starts talking.

"Thank you very much, Somi. Now, we'll post the names of the ones we pick. Goodluck, and you can now go home. Thank you for participating." Chungha sunbae said, and all of them started to left.

Me and Chungha sunbae were left, and we fixed the gym.

"So Jen, who do you think is the best?" She asked, while putting her things at her bag.

"Hmm.. I'll go with the Lee Sisters." I replied.

"Chaeyon and Chaeryong?" She asked.

"Yes unnie." I said, and picked up my bad.

We left the gym, and we're now at the hallways.

"Why do you pick them?" She questioned.

"Because they are good dancers. The way their bodies move, it fits at the music. Their facial expression also suits the music, and they are also in sync." I said.

"You have a point. I don't know who to choose though." She said, and let out a laugh.

"I feel you unnie. They are so talented." I said.

When we reached the gates, we parted ways. I look around I saw Seulgi standing at the corner. She was talking to someone at her phone. I went to her, and poke her cheeks.
She flinched, and look at me.

"I'll call you back." She said, and put her phone at her pocket.

"Who's that?" I asked.

"My sister, Hyewon." She answered.

"The one who works part-time at the café nearby?" I asked again.

"Yeah." She said.

I cling at her arms, and started walking.

"Why does your sister called you? She doesn't do that to you normally." I asked.

"I-it i-i uhm..." she said.

"Hey, why are you nervous?" U asked.

"B-because she told me, t-that Nayeon is at the hospital now." Seulgi said, panicked.
