Jeongyeon's POV

After the ride, Jennie decided that we should head at the Han River, after buying foods for us to eat.

We stop at a convinience store and buy some foods, particularly chips and soda. After that, we went at the river, and sat at the bench provided.

"Why are you so quiet Jagi?" I asked her, while munching the chips. It took a few seconds, before she answer.
"Uhm.. Jagi.. I have something to tell you." Jennie said in a sad tone.
"What is it? Is there something bothering you?" I asked.
"Well, The reason why we hangout is because..."

She paused for a second, taking deep breaths. I hold her hands and rub it gently.

"I w-want to end things up." Jennie said.

To be honest, I can't believe it. I mean, she's not that type of woman to say those things. She'll fight for everything she wants.

"I know it's too sudden but... Our relationship is too toxic. I knew that you feel that also. To be honest with you, I'm already dating Lisa for the last 2 weeks. I know that it is a huge mistake, but I don't feel anything for you." She said. Tears escaping from her eyes.

I didn't notice that I am also crying. This night should be fun, but why do I'm crying? I should be the one saying those to her. I muster up my courage to speak.

"Don't be sorry Jennie. I also want to end things up, thats why I accompany you tonight. I notice that we both don't feel each other lately. So please don't blame yourself." I said.

She gave me a faint smile and stood up.

"Before we officialy end things up, promise me this okay?" Jennie said.

I nodded my head, and listen to her.

"First. We should remain friends. Even though we had our past, promise me that we should help each other. Second, Take care of Nayeon." She said smiling

I froze at my spot after hearing her last statement.

"W-what?!" I said.

"I knew that you really like Nayeon.I also saw you guys awhile ago at the Ice cream parlour. I know that you don't only see her as a friend, but also more than that. Keep her okay. She's a good friend back then. I hope she'll forgive me." Jennie explained.

So after all this time, we lied to each other. Very Nice. But atleast we have our open conversation, before we ended up. Clean breaks as they say.

"Yeah! I'll promise that."

"Cheers for our future!" I exclaimed, raising my soda can.
"Cheers!" She said cheekily, and bumping her can into mine.

After that, we enjoy the cold breeze and the view, before we return to our houses.
