CHAPTER 21

Jennie's POV

My surroundings stops, when Seulgi informed me about Nayeon.

"S-seul, In what hospital does Nayeon admitted at?" I asked.

"At Hanyang Medical Hospital." Seulgi answered.

"Ok. I gotta go, do you wanna come?" I asked her.

"Sure." She said.

We head to the bus stop, and waited for a bus to arrive. I am so stupid, because I didn't bring my car. Minutes later, the bus arrived and we hopped in. I pay the fare, and we sat at the front seat.

"How did it happen? Does Hyewon tod you something?" I asked. I feel so uneasy and my hands were sweating.

"I don't know. Hyewon didn't told me anything. But she told me that Jeongyeon and the others are there." Seulgi replied.

Gah!! What the hell is happening?? I'm just with her awhile ago.

When we arrived, I immediately went to the reception desk, and asked for Nayeon's room.

"Uhm.. excuse me ma'am, may I ask for Ms. Im Nayeon's room?" I asked the nurse.

"Sure ma'am. Just hold on for a second." The nurse replied.

I waited, while fidgeting my fingers. The nurse typed something on the keyboard.

"She's at room 299 ma'am" the nurse informed.

Seulgi and I went to the elevator, and pressed for the 2nd floor button. When the lift reached the floor, we sprint towards Nayeon's room. I knock three times and Nayeon's mom opened the door.

"Uh.. Good evening Mrs. Bae, uhm.. Can we visit Nayeon?" I asked.

"Sure, come in." Mrs. Bae said and let us in. We saw that Jeongyeon and the others are there. They're sleeping peacefully. But a girl caught my attention.

"Nayeon, dear. Jennie's here." Mrs. Bae informed.

Nayeon woke up, and her mom guides her to sit.

"I'll give you privacy." Mrs. Bae said.

We bowed and she left us.

"How are you?" I asked.

"I am fine. I just passed out." Nayeon replied.

"What happened?" Seulgi questioned.

"We were at the café awhile ago, because we decided to eat lunch there. But I didn't knew, that the owner of the shop is my auntie. When we're eating, a staff approached us, and excused me to my friends. I followed her, and she brought me to my auntie's office. There, she told me everything. But I didn't handle my emotions, so I passed out." Nayeon stated.

"What did she say to you, that causes you to pass out?" I asked.

"She didn't said anything. But a memory triggers me." She spoke.

"What do you mean?" Seulgi asked.

"I lost my memories 10 years ago." She said.

My heart sank, and I feel so numb. 10 years ago... That was the time, when I pushed her at a stream, during our field trip.

She lost her memories because of me. She's having a hard time back then.. I am so stupid.. I cause a huge pain to her.

I feel so weak.. I froze at my spot, and I can't move.

"I'm sorry." I mumbled.

"What did you say?" Nayeon asked.

"Nayeon I'm sorry. I'm very very sorry. I know I am a bad person..Please forgive me." I pleaded, and kneel down.

Seulgi tried to push me up, but I didn't. I just kneel down at the tile flooring, and asking for Nayeon's forgiveness.

"Hey are you out of your mind? I already forgave you. It's okay now. Don't worry I am fine." Nayeon assured.

I stood up, and hug her. I sobbed and continue to cry.

"Shh.. It's okay now, Jen. It's all in the past now." Nayeon added.
