CHAPTER 42

Nayeon's POV

( 1  year later)

It's been a year since me and Jeongyeon had been kidnapped. After that incident, I've been experiencing nightmares, that causes me to be awake at 3 a.m. My parents brought me and Jeongyeon to a psychologist, to help us and also for orientation.

Our parents also explained to our teachers the reason of our disappearance, and they considered it.  They gave us special classes for 2 months, and put us back to regular after.

A lot of things changed after that incident. Our squad became strong and thoughtful of each other. Sometimes the boys would join us for lunch, or they would accompany us when we would hang out. One time, Joy asked them if they would feel uncomfortable being with us, but they said no. Instead they said that they also enjoy being around us.

As of now, All from the squad have relationship except for Harin. It happened when Lisa invited us to her house because of boredom. We played truth or dare, and many tea have been spilled.

Satzu, Michaeng, Dahmo, Chaesoo, Seulrene, and Wenri admitted their feelings for each other that day. Oh, and also we found out that Jihyo and Daniel were dating, same with Joy and Seungjae.

Jeongyeon and I also proclaimed that we're now in a relationship, though some of them were not suprised. But still, they did congratulate us.

About my family, my parents adopted Eunwoo since he's been an orphan eversince he was born. Also, dad let him study at the same school as ours, and he's taking criminology. Jungkook is now the new heir of his parent's company since their family lawyer removed Somi's name on the will.

Jieun unnie has now a husband and a cute little angel named Luna Amaris, which both means "Moon". While Jongsuk oppa has his fianceé and they were about to get married next year.

"Okay now class we have an important announcement." Our homeroom teacher said, and we immediately went into our respective seats. He fixed his glasses and clear his throat, before continuing.

"As all of you guys know that the intrams last semester was cancelled, due to some serious events. But on the third week of this month, the intrams will take place. And on last week of this month also, the school will also having our Prom. So better get ready, and let us wait for further announcements." He said before dismissing the class. All of us, packed our bags and went straight to the canteen.

"Hey, are you guys excited for the prom?" Wendy asked as soon as we sat on the table, we usually occupied during break.

"Of course, who wouldn't?" Sana exclaimed.

"Me. I'm not going to the prom." They all looked at me with disappointment.

"Oh, come on Nayeon. It's only once in a lifetime! Besides this is the last prom, before we graduate in college." Jennie persuaded.

"Yeah, Jen's right." Irene scooted beside me.

"This is once in a lifetime event, and its a bummer if you miss it. Better think about your choices okay. But whatever your decision is, we'll respect that." Irene unnie said, and hug me.

Irene being the eldest among us, is the best. She always give us some advices when were down, and also she's doing her best to act like a mom to us.

I gave her a small smile, and said to them that I'll think about it.

After classes, we all go home and of course, Jeongyeon and I were together.
