CHAPTER 11

3rd Person's POV

After their jamming session, the girls fall asleep immediately. But two of them aren't sleeping at all. It was Nayeon and Jeongyeon. Jeongyeon is just lying at her comforter, while Nayeon is up and busy stargazing. Jeongyeon thought of something, and she stood up to sit beside the latter.

"Hey." Jeongyeon said, as she sat beside Nayeon.
"H-hey" Nayeon flinched, before she replied.
"It's late, why aren't you sleeping?" The ostrich-looking girl said.
"Nothing. I'm just watching the stars. They're so beautiful aren't they?" Nayeon said, looking at the sky.

Jeongyeon also looked at the sky, admiring the beautiful ocean of stars. After a minutes of silence, she muster up all her courage to speak.

"Hey. Can I ask you a question?" Jeongyeon asked.
"Sure. What is it?" Nayeon said, facing Jeongyeon.
"Do you and Jennie know each other?" Jeongyeon questioned.

Nayeon flinced before she can speak. She's not ready to answer that question. Jeongyeon then feel the tension.

"Hey, you don't have to answer, if yoh feel umcomfortable." Jeongyeon spoke.
"No. It's okay. I think that you should know our past." Nayeon said, akwardly.

NAYEON'S POV

At first, I felt uneasy when Jeongie asked me that question. But I guess that Jeongyeon should also know what happened to us, from the past.

I let out a sigh before speaking.

"It happened when we were in 5th grade. Jennie and I were classmates, and we are also bestfriends. That day, we're so inseparable. We would do the same things, we love. But that ended when a spelling competition, was held at our school. Our teacher included us at that contest, but we're not teammates. We we're quite disappointed, but I said that it's okay, and we should do our best. When the contest day comes, our scores were neck-to-neck. Everytime I would score, she'll earn a point too. Until one of the judges,decided that we should have a tie breaker. We should spell 'Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis' backwards.
So i quickly pressed the buzzer, and spell it. But with no luck, I misspelled it. So automatically, it is Jennie's turn. So she spelled the word. She got the word, but the judges said that she didn't earn the point, beacause she didn't say the word first, before spelling it. So in the end, I won. Everyone congratulate me, but when I turned to Jennie, she didn't said anything and she just bumped me with her shoulder. And that is the beginning of her anger towards me. Weeks have passed, her personality changes. She would bully me and do some annoying stuffs to me. Her anger pushes her, to do horrible stuff to me. That was when we had a field trip, at a zoo. We were given a free time to explore the place, so I went to a stream, that was located at the back of the zoo. I dipped my foot in there, and just enjoy the sound of it. It was so peaceful, not until Jennie came and pushed me down. I fell at the stream, and I hit my head on the rock. I lost my conciousness, and I didn't know what happened. When I woke up, my mom tell me what happened. So she decided that we should move at Daegu, to continue my studies." I explained to her.

When I looked at Jeongyeon, she's sleeping at my shoulder. I frown at her, and face her.

"You let me talk and talk, but you ended up sleeping." I chuckled bitterly.
"Babo, I'm not sleeping. I just close my eyes, but I'm listening." Jeongyeon said, rubbing her knuckles at her eyes.

I rolled my eyes at her, and she let out a laugh. I lay down at my comforter, and look at the sky again.

"You should sleep, Jeong. It's 3:00 am already." I said to Jeongyeon, who's busy typing at her phone.
"I'll sleep beside you." Jeongyeon said.

She quickly stood up, and grab her comforter next to Sana, and laid it next to mine.

"Goodnight, Nabongs." She said, smiling.
"Goodnight, Jeongie" I said, and we both drifted to dreamland.

Here's an update to fill my days, not updating. It is because my mom deprived me to touch this phone. The truth is, this phone isn't mine🤦‍♀️😭. So expect that I'm not gonna update. But I'll try my very best, to update as much as I can.💖☺️
