Eileen drove over to Karl's house and let herself in. Karl already had the bowls for the ice cream out and currently just sitting on his kitchen chair.

"Karl Jacobs!" Eileen shouts, startling him.

Karl smiled at her. "Eileen Adams!" He shouts back. Eileen laughs as she hugs him. The two hadn't actually seen each other in a while because they both became so busy.

"Ok, let's get this show on the road because I'm hungry." The two put some ice cream in their bowls and sat on the couch to watch regular show.

They didn't get that far in when Eileen got a ding from her phone. She quickly looked at it to see it was the one person she didn't want to talk to right now.

Eileen didn't want to cry in front of Karl but she couldn't help it. Setting her phone down she felt the tears roll from her eyes.

Clearly Karl sensed something was wrong because he looked over at her to see tears rushing down her face. He gave her a concerned look. "What happened?" He asked.

Eileen couldn't get it out, she just dug her head into Karl's chest, sobbing uncontrollably. "Is it Alex?" He asked, wrapping his arms around her.

"He's a dickhead." She mumbled in between sobs.

Karl chuckled a little. "He'll come around." He tried to console her.

Eileen shook her head. "I fucking hate him." She whispered just loud enough for Karl to hear. His eyes widened but he didn't say anything.

Eileen wiped her eyes and moved to face Karl. "Can I stay here tonight? I just need someone right now." Karl nodded slowly. Eileen smiled softly at him. "You're the best friend I could ask for." Karl smiled back as she wiped her eyes again.

"You can stay as long as you need." He told her. Eileen nodded and rested her head on his shoulder.

"Thank you, Karl." She mumbled, returning her attention back to the T.V.

Karl looked down at her. "Anything for you."
