CHAPTER 20

Maggie's pov

We arrived at the arena on time without any distractions (which is a big surprise xd). There were a lot of fans waiting for door opening so we had to slip in through a backdoor to stay unnoticed.

I was a bit nervous, 'cause it's my first big concert. I only had small ones, such as: radio/tv  performances, club tour or open-air concerts. Fortunately I have Abel by my side - it's the only fact which relaxes me plus I am not alone and have some support.

Of course I was trying to play it cool, 'cause I am that type of human who doesn’t want pity or sth. I just want to be seen as a strong and powerful woman, not weak or dependent one.

"So...How do you feel before your first big show?" Abel asked breaking the silence

"Awesome" I lied but he didn't recognised

"Cool. I am glad you are brave " he said proudly

"Yeah" it was everything I could say at that moment

"Everything will be alright, Meg. I'll be right there on the backstage. You don't even know how proud I am "

"Oh, right, as you mentioned backstage... I was about to ask you sth. But please, don’t get mad at me..." I had an idea and I was hoping he would agree

"What is it?" He asked interested

"I don't want you to only sit on the backstage. I would love to have you right beside me on that important day, to be part of this show..."

"So what am I supposed to do?" He interrupted me

"Sing with me" My words froze him

"Wh-what? Maggie, are you sure? " he couldn't believe

"I am. Please, say yes. It’s really important for me. I want to sing with my friend" I was convincing him with a puppy face

"Okay, okay. I'll sing with you"

"Omg omg thank you!!!" I started jumping and I hugged him tight 
"I knew you wouldn't say no " I added

"Really? Why are you so sure?" He tried to tease

"You wouldn't refuse your favourite bestie" we laughed after what I said and then we started choosing songs to sing together.

                 * 20 minutes later *

We chose few songs and did a little rehearsal. Then was time to go meet with my fans.

"Wanna go with me?" I asked

"Sure" he answered
