8 years later.....

Akki's POV

"Akki!" I run from mom as she yells at me. I laugh looking behind making sure she wasn't behind me. When I bump into someone falling on the ground. I look at dad with his arms cross looking down at me. I scoot back trying to stand up and run away but he grabs me slinging me over his shoulder. His white hair gets in my face and I push his head away from mine, crossing my arms and pout.

"Didn't you hear your mom calling you?" I jerk my head looking away. "Yes." I snap. He drops me on the couch, I sit up and bury my face in the cushion. Dad sighs and sits down next to me. "What did you do?" "Nothing." I say, my words muffled in the couch. "Akki. What did I tell you about lying?" I sigh and look at him. "Ask mom. She knows."

He sighs and slowly shakes his head no. "I maybe lit a fire in the hou-" Mom walks in leaning against the wall. I jump up and hide behind Dad. "I l-love you, m-mom." I say quietly with a small forced smile. She scoffs and jerks her head looking away, that means that she's mad but I'm off the hook for now. "You lit a fire in the house? What were you thinking?" Dad asks rising his voice.

"I-I'm sorry." I put my head down. He sighs, then riffles through my hair. He stands up and walks up to mom as they talk about me. I bolt out of the room before they can say thing. I run down the hall as my black hair gets in my eyes, I slow down walking into my room a.k.a Me, Yukki's, and Kaori's room. A black burn mark is in the middle of the room, and I giggle.

Yukki's POV

"Why are you giggling? You almost burnt down our room." I frown. Akki just giggles more, and Kaori scoffs at him as she sits on the bed. "Mom got mad, you know?" Akki's smile quickly turns to a frown. "You have to take the fun out of everything, don't you Yukki?" Akki yells as Aunt Yuki walks in with her arms crossed.

"Why are you yelling at your brother?" Aunt Yuki squats down looking at Akki in the eyes. "Huh?" She asks. Akki shrugs as I turn around and climb up the bunk bed to the top. Mom and dad look in the room at us, smiling. "Yuki, I think Akki has had enough of your stare." Mom laughs.

Kaori jumps up and runs to mom, hugging her. She always clings to mom when she sees her. Mom smiles and Kaori giggles. I get off my bed, climbing down the ladder. I walk up to aunt Yuki and she smiles, "Hey little one." She hugs me then stands up.

"I'm not little." I cheeks heat up. "I'm the oldest." I stand up straight. "You you're not, I am!" Akki yells. "Shut up I am!" Kaori yells. I stop talking when Akki and Kaori start yelling at each other.

Kaori POV

"I'm the oldest!" I yell as Akki yells back. "Uhh! You're so annoying!" I hiss. "Okay okay that enough." Dad steps in the middle of us. I clinch my teeth holding back my anger. I growl at Akki and stop when I see Yukki's red eye start to tear up. He can be... How do I say this.. sensitive. "I'm sorry."

I sigh and Yukki dries his tears, rubbing his white hair in his eyes. Mom and aunt Yuki leave the talking about how they've been. I sigh and lay back on my bed, shoving my face in a pillow. "He's so annoying." I exhale.

I get on my notebook and a book that Hinami let me borrow. I start to read the complex book and write down new words I hadn't seen before. "Seriously, why do you do that it's so boring." Akki complains. "Shut up." I shush him. "Brothers." I say under my breath.

Mom thinks that us three are quite smart for our age and Aunt Yuki says so to. I put my head on my hand, "Me? Smart? Or this idiot?" I look at Akki. "Hey!" He yells. I just smirk and finish reading.
