The first 5 weeks....

The first shitty weeks of pregnancy, and it's just the being. I sit on the side of the bed with my head down sighing. Kaneki is at work and I'm at home in pain. Yet I'm not showing, I told Kaneki not to tell people but I'm pretty sure of he already did.

Kaneki has been keeping tabs on Jason, making sure he doesnt find out I'm pregnant. He comes home with new news everyday, going on and on about how we can't let him find out. "But what if he finds out?" Kaneki paces around the room with his arms crossed. "He's not. Just stop worrying so much." I tell him followed with a sigh. "Kaneki. Come here." I pat the bed next to me.

He walks over me, sitting by me. "Just calm down, just think about how happy we're going to be when the baby is born." I rub his back then put my head on his shoulder. He lays his head on mine wrapping his arm around my waist. "I know. I'm sorry." He says in a soft voice.

"I'm going to work tomorrow." I put up my head. "You need to get rest." He informs me. "I know, I know but being trapped in this stupid house sucks." I stand up. "[Name] I'm working and you're staying home preparing for the baby." I turn my head quickly looking at him. "I just sit around all day, that's preparing?" I ask.

He stares at me then puts down his head. "No." Walk up to him sitting on the floor in front of him looking up. "I'm sorry, I just don't like being home alone." I sigh.

I didn't explain since I can regenerate and I'm half human I look like I'm 1 month pregnant. I'm not showing but have a little bump. "I know but.." I wave my hands making cross. "It's late we'll talk tomorrow." He nods his head as he's up to change into pajamas which is him shirtless and pants.

Lay down already in my pajamas as Kaneki lay down next to me. "I love [Name]." He says in a whisper cuddling me with his hands on my stomach. "I love you too, Kaneki." I reply as I feels his breath on the back of my neck.

Morning

I purposely woke up before Kaneki, so I can get ready without him telling me that I need to get "rest". I'm in the shower, sing when the bathroom door opens then closes. I look out the shower and stand there with his arms crossed. "Sneaky." He say sarcastically as he sits on the counter.

I continue my shower humming my favorite songs. I rinse out my hair and turn the shower. I get out of the shower drying my hair and wrapping a towel around me, completely not paying attention to Kaneki. Kaneki sits in front of the mirror so I shoo him over making him stand by the counter watching me.

"It's a little creepy." I sigh. "Good I'm trying to make you uncomfortable." "But why?" I ask brushing my hair. "Nothing nevermind." He walks behind me and wraps his arms around my waist, laying his head on my shoulder.

He just stays there not moving. "Hey what's wrong?" I says softly. He shakes his head no meaning he's fine. "I just love this...." "This? What do you mean?" "I love you and soon we're going to be a family and none is going to hurt us. I love what we have right here." I hold his arms around me and want to cry but I try not to.

"Me too." I say in a low tone. He let's go of me but part of me wants to stay like that forever, I grab him and hug his bare chest. I sigh in warmth and he holds my close, I love him and I want to be happy with him but I know when the baby is born. It might cause war....
