The boy with a eyepatch

His eye..

I move his bangs and there it was everyone's worst nightmare. He falls to his knees, I just stand there looking at it, he looks at me I look make eye contact. My hand still holding up his hair, he put hand on mine moving it.

Moving his hair back over his eye. "Let me look at it again." I say calmly.  He looks at me, "What you surprised? I told you I'm not scared." Once again I move his hair. "Your one eyed? Amazing." "What? How are you not afraid?" "I'm a expert on ghouls, I love them minus the part of eating people but I understand." "Oh." He sighs.

"Are you hungry?" I ask him tilting my head a little. "Uh kinda the smell of blood made it worse." He looks away avoiding my face. I put my hands on his face making him look at me. "I'm not telling anyone, and not going anywhere." He nods, I could tell he was going through a lot.

I pull down my sleeve exposing my shoulder. "Are you sure?" He licks his lips. "Go ahead." To be honest I was kind of scared but I don't care. Kaneki stands up looking down at my shoulder and leans down. I feel his lips touch my shoulder then he stops.

"What's wrong?" I ask him. "We're standing in front of a window." "Oh yeah." I look out the window to see people walking on the sidewalks and Yuki still asleep on the table. When I feel Kaneki place his hands on my shoulders pushing me through the staff only door.

I end up on a wall, he leans down. Feeling his teeth squeeze my skin hard. My eyes water, blood drips down my arm. Kaneki swallows then grabs a towel from the hallway. He puts it on my shoulder,  "Apply pressure." He tells me. He walks farther in the hallway and enters a room.

He comes back out with a bandages. He takes the towel off and puts on the bandages. "Thanks." I thank him. "No thank you, seriously I don't know anyone who would do that." He gives me a small smile. I pull up my sleeve covering the bandage. "I better go." "Yeah." He leads the way out, before I wake up Yuki he puts back on his eyepatch and acts normal.

"Hey Yuki wake up." I shake her. "What what's wrong." "Let's go to school." "Okay." She yawns and stands up grabbing her things she walks out.

I walk up to the counter, leaning over I grab Kaneki shirt pulling him into a kiss. His body is stiff at first then relaxes. I break the kiss then I walk out the door and wave to him through the window. "Bye Kaneki" I say to myself.
