"You're pregnant." He says. "What it sounded like you said I'm pregnant." I snapping back to myself. "I did." He puts his head down. "Wait your telling me that I'm pregnant, me, pregnant?" I put my hands on my stomach, looking down.

"Hey, it's going to be okay." Kaneki lays his hand on my hands. I keep my head down as my eyes swell with tears. "How?" I ask with my head down. " I'm going to help you, we'll get through together." He lifts my chin, kissing me. He brings me tight in a hug, kissing my forehead.

I sigh hugging him back, I'm not sure I can do this. "A new being form in me." I smile rubbing my thin stomach. Kaneki smiles, placing his forehead on mine looking down at my stomach. "Wait, how do you know before me?" I ask looking up at him.

"Well you were acting weird so Yoshimura, I guess check you?" He looks at the manager shrugging. "Checked me? What did you touch? I don't remember alot!" I point at him. "Well...." He shrugs. I jumped at him to hurt but Kaneki grabs my hips pulling me back.

" Hey hey feisty one." He says. "You just need to rest." He looks at me in the eyes. "Seriously." "I know, I know." I sigh, I hate being a burden. I go in the conference room and lay down on one of the couches. Kaneki walks in the room, "I'm just going to work since we're here anyway." He shrugs. "Okay if you want to." He leaves and shuts the door, I pull out my phone. Looking at the missed calls and texts I didn't answer from Yuki.

I dial her number, "Maybe I shouldn't  do this." I warn myself. I press call on my phone as it rings I look at the redheaded girl contact picture on my phone.

"Hello? [Name]?" "Hey." "Hey how come you haven't been coming to school? Or calling me?" "Sorry I have just been busy." "What? With Kaneki?" She laughs. "Actually yes." I scratch behind my ear. "Wait really?" She sounds shocked.  "Yeah." "What happened to 'I don't want to be in a relationship.'?" She mocks me. "I don't sound like that." We laugh.

"I miss this." She sighs. "Me too,  I'm sorry. I have going through a lot, but I'm trying." "I know. So tell me what's going on." "Uh.. Not much, I moved in with Kaneki and I." "What, really. So it's serious." She cuts me off. "Same old Yuki." I smile shaking my head.

"What?" "Nothing. Well I guess it is."I answer, she laughs. "Have you two, you know what? Huh huh?" I remember how she used to tap me repeatly with her elbow. "Uh well.." I blush. "You're blushing aren't you! You totally did, didn't you?!" "Fine I did. I admit it." She beings to laugh hard.

"I wouldn't laugh." I says in a low tone, she stops laughing. "Why what's wrong." 'She sounds worried should I tell her?' "Well, I'm pregnant." Right after I said it, I thought about how this is going to be difficult. I smack my forehead, sighing.

"I-I'm going to be an aunt?" She cries. "Yuki, are you crying?" I hear her sniffle and cry.

"I'm happy,  I need to see you." "Okay you will." "Like now." "Now? I can't Kaneki's working and if I just leaving he's going to get worried." "Then I'll come to you." "No no you can't." "Why?" "Um I will come to you. Where are you?" "At home."

"Okay I will be there soon." I press the end button on my phone. I stand up, walking out of the door turning off the light. I walk pushing the staff only door open, I see Kaneki working behind the counter. "Hey, you okay?" He walks up to me. "Yeah, but I'm leaving for a little." Kaneki's face in shock. "I can't leave, you're to reckless." I sigh,  "What does that mean."

"I mean," He leans down to my ear. "You even forgot to put your eyepatch on." I touch my face. "Shit." I run and grab my eyepatch putting it on and walk back to Kaneki. "I need to go Kaneki." I clinch my fist, he grabs my fist. "Okay,  I can't stop you. Where are you going." I whisper in his ear. "Okay be careful it's dangerous, call me if you need me." "Okay I will." I stand on my toes kissing him.

"Oh yeah." I run pushing open the staff only and grab my jacket and my mask, shove it in the inside pocket. "Just in case." I nod and leave Anteiku and start walking to Yuki's house. I knock on the door, wait for her. She opens the door with a huge smile.

"Oh my god,  [Name]." She hugs me super tight. "Oh sorry." She looks at my stomach. "Stop staring." I yell at her. "Come on." She pulls me inside. Her house is cleaned up and smells good. "Are you hungry? You have to be with all those pregnancy hormones." She smiles. " I'm fine." "You sure?" I nod my head and take off my shoes.

"What did you need to see me for? Nevermind that was a stupid question,  clearly I know." I smile. " So you and Kaneki...." she smirks sitting down. "Yeah." I blush as she laughs. She gets on her hands and knees and crawls up to me. She puts her head on my stomach, making me uneasy.

"And you're pregnant. And you know this for sure?" She looks at me as I nod. "Goody. I'm going to be an aunt." I laugh as she stands up. "Oh and I have to yell at Kaneki for touching." She growls. I laugh. We talked for hours, she told me about every that happened at school.

I told her some stupid excuse about why I wear a eyepatch and told her everything except for that I'm half ghoul and I eat flesh. Oh how I miss her, I eventually went home and called Kaneki telling him I was at home. An hour later Kaneki came home, I'm just laying in bed try to sleep.

"Hey." He says quietly sitting on the bed,  kissing my forehead. "Hey." I open my eyes. He strokes my hair looking me. "You look so helpless. It's cute." He smiles. "Whatever." I sit grabbing the neck line of his shirt and pull him in a kiss. He breaks the kiss and lays on the bed next to me.

"Yoshimura said that you can not work some times if you want to and you get time off work after you have the baby." He puts his forehead on mine. "Just so you know I know it's hard for a ghoul to have a baby." He looks at me. "Okay, I thought you didn't and I didn't want to tell you yet." "I know." I lay my hand on his cheek.
