nine.

After sitting in the kitchen for an hour talking Kol drinks some water and smirks "vervain free." He hands me the bottle of water and nods firmly "your turn for a question." I shrug and drink some water "so how do you become a vampire?" Before he could answer a loud bang comes from the corridors "that will need to wait." He jumps off the counter and walks towards the door "stay here." He walks out the door and I sit on the counter with my eyes locked onto the door.

After a few seconds Kol runs back in "we need to go!" He picks me up like I weighed nothing and speeds out the kitchen. "Wow!" I close my eyes for a few seconds until he puts me down in the middle of the woods "what happened?" He nods towards the full moon "Lockwood is out. I could smell him."

He takes his jacket off and flings it towards a tree "you need to get out they clothes so he cant smell you." I laugh nervously and shake my head "your joking, right?" He starts stripping out his clothes and shrugs "no?" I scoff and shake my head "there is NO way I am being naked around you." He rolls his eyes and picks me up "fine!"

He flings me into the lake and smirks "that shall do it." I swim towards the pier and he helps me out "I hate you!" He shrugs and looks me up and down "will be harder for Lockwood to find us though." He strips down into his boxers and flings his clothes into the lake. He nods towards the pathway "lets go before they come here."

We walk through the woods for an hour and he looks at me "want to stop and rest for a bit?" I shake my head and smile "I'm good." He walks towards a steep hill and holds his hand out as he gets to top "hand?" I shake my head and grab onto a branch pulling myself up but the branch snaps and I lose my balance. Kol tries to grab me but he is to slow and I start rolling down the hill. I roll to the bottom of the hill and hit my head against a large tree branch knocking myself out.

Once I gain conscious again I realise I'm in Kols arms as he walks through the woods "hi." I get down from his arms and rub my head "what happened?" He shrugs and nods towards my head "you fell and hurt yourself?" I shrug and look towards my head "but I don't feel any pain?" He laughs nervously and shrugs "that will be because I gave you some of my blood?" I laugh sarcastically and walk towards him "your joking, right?" He shakes his head and laughs nervously "no."

"I thought you was going to die?!" I scoff and shove him "so you let me die! Who in their right minds feeds someone else their blood?!" He raises his eyebrows and walks towards me "do you have amnesia or something?" I roll my eyes and walk towards a large rock "someone who isn't a vampire!"
