Fourteen.

Kol takes me home but I can't get inside. He smirks and shakes his head "you need to be invited it." I laugh nervously and shake my head "my dad isn't even in town?" A car pulls up and I raise my eyebrow "or maybe he is?!" My dad parks the car and runs towards me "Mia?!" I wave at him and he cuddles me "what happened?" I shake my head and hug him tightly "I will tell you tomorrow? I just need my bed right now." He nods agreeing and looks towards Kol "well come in." He unlocks the door and I walk inside "can my friend come inside for a drink while he finds somewhere to stay?" My dad nods agreeing "of course." He holds his hand out and smirks "I'm Rafael." Kol shakes his hand and smiles softly "Kol."

As we shut the door and walk into the kitchen the front door opens again. I look over and see Scott "Mia?!" I wave and smile "hi?" He runs towards me and hugs me "are you ok?" I nod agreeing and drink some water "I'm fine?" Stiles runs in and waves "Mia?" I smile and wave at him "hey Stiles." He walks into the kitchen and looks at Kol "and you are?" Kol smirks and holds his hand out "kol." Scott shakes his hand and they both lock eyes for a few seconds. "Scott?" My dad walks into the kitchen and waves "Stiles?" Scott moves his hand away and looks at me "give us a minute?" Everyone clears the room leaving me and Scott alone.

He sits down and looks towards the door "so I met Jeremy?" I smile softly and nod firmly "ok?" He looks at me and shrugs "so Kol?" I laugh sarcastically and shake my head "I love Jeremy? Kol is just a friend." I walk towards the door and smirk "now if that is all then I should get back to my friend?" He stands up and nods agreeing "ok but we will be speaking tomorrow about what happened tonight? We can go a jog?" I nod agreeing and smile "sure." I walk out the kitchen door and smile at Kol "let's go upstairs." My dad walks towards us as we run upstairs "keep the door open!" I roll my eyes and hold my thumb up "I know dad!"

As we get into my bedroom Kol looks at me and holds his finger towards his mouth. He looks around and pulls out a piece of paper and writes on it before handing me it. I look at it and smirk 'your brother is a werewolf?' I shake my head and look at Kol "no?" He nods and points towards his ears "I sensed it." I hold the paper up and place it on my drawers.

I sit down and he sits beside me so he can whisper into my ear. "He must have been bitten?" I look towards the door and smirk "does he know what you are?" He shakes his head and stands up "no but he knows I'm something because his heart rate went high and he sensed it."

I stand up and walk towards the window "so do you think he sensed it from me?" He shakes his head and walks towards me "new vampires don't give off a sense at first." My bedroom door opens and my dad walks in "you want to use our guestroom for a few days Kol?" Kol looks at me and I nod agreeing "sure?" He looks at my dad and smiles "thank you." My dad nods firmly before leaving again.
