Kol looks into the rear-view mirror "he has a stupid Gilbert family ring on that stops him from dying." He looks at me and shrugs "what date is it?" I look at my clock on my car radio "1st July 2021?" He looks into space and smiles "I was daggered for 8 months." He looks at me and shrugs "when did you come here?" I wipe away my tears and shrug "6 months ago." He looks at me and smiles "and you don't know anything? WOW Gilbert knows how to keep his secrets."

I look out the window and silk "I'm sure he did it to protect me." Kol smirks "is that why he has been sneaking you vervain? Believe me in this town its safer to know what is going on." He stops the car and I look at him "why are we at the school?" He shrugs and takes the keys out "because it's the holidays so no one will be there?" I roll my eyes and he opens my side door "let's go!"

I follow him inside and he leads me into the school gym. I sit down and smirk "now what?" He shrugs and sits down "now we wait for the vervain to get out your system so get comfortable because it takes 24 hours." I laugh nervously and shake my head "so you are keeping me prisoner here for 24 hours?" He shrugs and sits down "I might have killed you by that time if you annoy me." He looks out the gym window "or if Tyler doesn't." He looks at me and smirks "it's a full moon tonight."

After an hour I stand up and smile "I need food!" He smirks and looks at "me too." I scoff and shake my head "I'm sure we can BOTH find something that won't get either of us hurt?!" He stands up and walks towards the gym door "lets go check the kitchen." I follow him out and we walk towards the kitchen.

He shrugs and looks at me "so where did you move from?" I laugh nervously and shake my head "really? You want to do small talk?" He shrugs and looks at me "I just want to know the new eye candy of the town." I roll my eyes and smirk "I moved here with my dad 6 months ago from San Francisco. He was only meant to be here for a few weeks doing a case but they decided to move him here officially so we didn't need to move around every few months." I smirk and look at him "your turn."

He shrugs and looks towards the floor "I'm one of the original vampires. That is about it really." I roll my eyes and shrug "how many of you are there? How old are you? Why did your brother dagger you?" He opens the kitchen door and smirks "now who is doing small talk?" I roll my eyes and grab some chips "just answer the questions."
