Twenty-three.

Kol gets Klaus into the car and I walk towards Jeremy. Bonnie smiles softly and strokes his arm "I will be in the car." He nods firmly and she walks away leaving us alone. I laugh nervously and look at Jeremy "I'm so sorry." He hugs me and nods firmly "I know." I wrap my arms around him and take a deep breath "I'm sorry too." I look at him and smile nervously "for what?" He looks at kol and nods "for keeping this part of my life a secret? If I told you sooner then maybe things would have been different." I kiss his cheek and smile "maybe."

I look at Kol and smile "I should go." He nods firmly and cuddles me again "I will be here for you ok? Even if it's just a friend." I nod firmly and cuddle him back "I know." He kisses my head before letting go "always." I let go and wave at him before walking back towards the car.

Kol smirks and nods firmly "are you ok?" I nod agreeing and he squeezes my hand "I'm ok." I look at Jeremys car as it drives back "that is how we should have ended." Kol kisses my hand and shrugs "sorry." I shrug and stick my seatbelt on "its not your fault? I knew what I was doing, I just regret hurting him." Kol starts the car and shrugs "we will get the answers we need and I will take you away for a while? Somewhere far away where you can breathe." I smirk and nod agreeing "sounds perfect."

Bonnie looks at Jeremy and shrugs "are you ok?" He takes a deep breath and looks into the rear-view mirror "I will wait for her." Bonnie shrugs and looks out the back window "and what if it isn't a sire bond and she really does like Kol?" Jeremy shrugs and takes a deep breath "then I will let her go but until I know for certain then I'm not letting go because I love her."

After three hours we pull up outside an old looking church "are you ready?" I look at Kol and nod agreeing "yes?" He opens my side door and takes my hand "lets go." I take his hand and follow him and Klaus into the church.

We see a woman walk towards us "Freya!" She hugs Klaus and Kol before looking at me "you must be Mia?" I nod agreeing and she hugs me "wow!" She jumps back and laughs nervously "what happened to you?" I shrug and look at Kol "I don't know? That is what we are here for?" She nods agreeing and looks at Kol and Klaus "this way."

Freya leads us towards the door at the back of the church "in you go." She looks at me and nods towards the door "ok?" I walk into the door and she smirks "how?!" She looks at Kol and shrugs "your turn." Kol scoffs and walks towards the door but an invisible shield stops him. He falls back onto the floor and rubs his head "little warning next time?" Freya walks towards me and smirks "so how did you manage to get into the door?" Klaus shrugs and walks towards the shield placing his hand up but can't move it past the door frame "that is what we want to find out."
