I spot Jeremy speaking to someone outside. As I get closer to him I realise it was the man from the cellar earlier. I scoff and shake my head. He smiles at me but his smile soon disappears "Mia? What is wrong?" I scoff and walk past him "your friends are crazy and I want them out." I get into my car and drive off before he can say another word.

He looks towards the front door and spots Damon and Tyler. He shakes his head and walks towards them "what the hell did you tell her?!" Damon scoffs "us?! You should have told us she was on vervain?" Jeremy shakes his head and looks down the street "what? She isn't?" Damon looks at Tyler "well she knows about Tyler here being a werewolf and my compulsion didn't work on her so she must be on it from someone." Tyler laughs nervously and looks towards the ground "she has also been drinking so probably shouldn't be driving?" Jeremy grabs his phone and nods firmly "I will call her."

As I drive I realise I didn't know where I was going. I keep driving anyway and eventually stop after 20 minutes. I park the car up and take a deep breath "ok." I laugh nervously and shake my head "I need air!" I get out the car and start walking up the off-road path.

After a mile up the road I spot a small abandoned hut "this will do." I walk towards it and see a space to get inside at the back of the building. I get inside and look around "wow!" I spot a coffin lying in the middle of the room "creepy." I walk towards it and open it "please don't be a dead body." I see a young man all pale and a knife stuck into his chest. I look at the knife and scoff "you would think they would have taken this out before they put him in the coffin." I smirk and grab the knife handle before slowly lifting it out his chest. I raise my eyebrow when no blood comes out "weird." I hear a noise from upstairs so I quickly close the coffin again and run back outside.

I run into the man that was with Jeremy and he looks worried "what are you doing here?!" I place the knife behind my back and stutter. He looks towards the house and shakes his head "did you go inside?" Before I can answer I feel someone grab the dagger from my back "hello brother, goodnight brother." I look as the boy from inside the coffin stabs the other man in the chest. Unable to catch my breath or words I slowly walk back from them.

The man from the coffin smirks "sorry if I scared you darling." He walks towards me and holds his hand out "I'm Kol." He smirks and walks towards me "ok I will just compel you." He places his hand onto my shoulder and looks into my eyes "are you on vervain?" I raise my eyebrow and shake my head "as in the plant? Of course I'm not on it?!" He smirks and continues looking into my eyes "good."
